Bullshido Ki Implants - Freemium

Bullshido Freemium introduces a Ki-based implant system for ARK: Survival Ascended. Find hidden Bullshido Totems, collect Crystal Ki, write blueprints, and craft powerful implants that unlock superhuman abilities.

The engrams for this mod are not unlocked manually. You must find your first Bullshido Scroll to unlock them.

Core Loop

Explore - Bullshido Totems spawn in random locations.
Break Totems - Destroy them to obtain Bullshido writings and a random amount of Crystal Ki.
Write Blueprint - Use the Bullshido Scroll pages to unlock the engrams and create a Ki Implant Blueprint (not the implant).
Craft Implant - The implant requires extreme temperatures and must be forged in the Implant Forge.
Refine Ki Resources - At the Implant Forge, survivors can craft Crystal Ki at Level 60 and write Bullshido Scrolls at Level 90..

Important Rules

Stamina + Crystal Wear - All abilities consume the player's Stamina and drain the implant's Crystal Ki durability.
No Repairs - Once an implant reaches 0 durability, it becomes inert and cannot be repaired.
DNA Binding - The first time an implant is used, it imprints the survivor's DNA. After bonding, only that player can use the implant.

Blueprint Quality

Blueprint quality is earned through progression:

Below Level 60 - Blueprints are always Primitive.
Level 60+ - Higher-quality blueprints become possible, up to Ascendant.

Power Scaling

Implant effectiveness scales with the survivor's Melee Damage multiplier. This scaling affects multiple techniques, including Throwable Ki Ball and Super Punch in Combat Ki.

Ki Modes and Level Unlocks

Combat Ki (Unlocked from the start)

Combat Ki is available from the beginning. Its overall effectiveness increases with implant quality and a higher Melee Damage multiplier.

Techniques:

Dash (Ground) - Quick burst in four directions while moving.
Flight - Sustained flight while the implant has power.
Aerial Dash - Forward/back burst while airborne.
Throwable Ki Ball - Charge up to 5 seconds; higher charge = higher damage.
Ki Recharge - Regenerates Stamina and Health, greatly reduces incoming damage, and reveals nearby auras.
Super Punch - High-speed strike in the look direction; devastating on impact and can be cancelled.

Harvest Ki (Unlocks at Level 40)

Harvest Ki unlocks at Level 40 and is built for speed, stamina, and maximum gathering efficiency.

Techniques:

Double Jump - A second jump mid-air for mobility while gathering.
Hammer Punch - Mining-pick style strike (stone, metal, crystal).
Cleaving Punch - Open-hand cleave, axe-like harvesting (wood, thatch, fiber).
Hot Fist - Heated Ki strike that can cook certain resources on impact.

Taming Ki (Unlocks at Level 80)

Taming Ki unlocks at Level 80 and focuses on tracking, control, and torpor-based techniques.

Techniques:

Dash (Ground) - Quick burst in four directions while moving.
Tracking Vision - Toggle Enemy Detection Vision / Thermal Vision.
Throwable Ki Ball (Torpor) - Ki projectile that increases unconsciousness (torpor).
Hypnotic Beam - Slows and disorients the target, preventing attacks briefly.
Venom Punch - Reduced damage strike that delivers heavy torpor.

Ki Teleport System (Unlocks at Level 90)

At Level 90, survivors can unlock the engram to craft the Ki Teleport Totem. Implant users will also gain a new teleport option inside the implant radial menu.

Placeable Anchors - Place totems at your base and points of interest to create travel anchors.
Crystal Requirement - A totem can only be located if it contains Crystal Ki in its inventory.
Risk - Hide your totems. Enemies can destroy them and steal stored Crystal Ki.
Cost - Teleporting consumes 1x Crystal Ki from the destination totem.
From Anywhere - Implant users can teleport from any location using the implant menu.
Tribe Access - Any member of the same tribe can use a teleport totem to travel to another totem without needing an implant.

Implant-to-Implant Teleport (No Crystal Cost)

A survivor wearing a Ki Implant can teleport directly to another survivor who also has a Ki Implant equipped. This linked teleport does not consume Crystal Ki.

Note: All teleport actions will also bring your tribe's dinosaurs with you.

Super Combat Ki Implant (Boss Ready)

The Super Combat Ki Implant is a high-risk overdrive implant designed for endgame fights. It has the exact same abilities as the standard Combat Ki Implant, but provides greater overall performance while it has durability.

Always Ascendant - Super implant quality is always Ascendant.
Unrepairable - It cannot be repaired.
Passive Drain - Durability drains over time simply while equipped.
Restricted Knowledge - The secret of Super Combat Ki can only be read in the Bullshido at Level 100+.
