Appalachia offers a variety of flat, open landscape that gives players the freedom to settle anywhere. Many areas are ideal for building towns and creating your own unique environment. However, resources aren’t always abundant. There are 11 World Bosses that are fun to hunt and offer their own rewards! There are biomes ranging from cypress swamps, to oil fields and Desert to Birch Forests. The beasts on this map are not easy to come by. You must be cautious with finding animals as this map aims to bring forth a more primitive focus.

Lore:

Appalachia was once a proto-ARK, where the precursor Overseers first encountered humanity. They marveled at the vast, wild landscapes and began experimenting with local wildlife by introducing their own creations. However, they avoided the use of obelisks to preserve the pristine beauty of nature. Tek was in its early stages, and as humanity expanded, they began to disrupt the balance, leading to the extinction of several species, including the Overseers' creations. By 1750, the creations had vanished, and humanity's unchecked expansion forced the Overseers to take action After the catastrophe, only a few select humans were spared, and the Overseers abandoned Appalachia. Decades later, a woman named Helena briefly visited the land, leaving behind mysterious notes scattered across the map. Her purpose remains unknown. Now, Appalachia stands as a prison colony, its history faded, with only hints of the past scattered across the land.
