Arsonist Role: Last Spark

Turn quiet suspicion into a room-wide inferno with one focused neutral role: the Arsonist.

Before creating a lobby, the host can enable USE ARSONIST? and choose a 0-100% spawn chance. The default is 50%, so an enabled match may contain zero or one Arsonist. The role has no normal kill button; it wins by carefully preparing targets and choosing the perfect moment to Ignite.

DOUSE

DOUSE secretly marks one nearby living player with gasoline. Only the Arsonist sees the target's soft orange outline; the target and every other player see nothing unusual.

Initial cooldown: 10 seconds

IGNITE

IGNITE burns every still-living marked player in one host-authorized batch. Each successful burn uses a custom flame animation, an original ignition sound, and leaves a reportable charred body.

If the Arsonist dies or is ejected, Douse is permanently disabled, but Ignite remains available for gasoline marks created while alive. If an Ignite leaves no connected opponent alive, the Arsonist wins even from the grave.

The role includes original Arsonist, Douse, Ignite, and flame artwork; an orange role reveal; an original synthesized reveal sting; and a separate original fire-whoosh effect.

This CurseForge file contains only the Arsonist plug-in, documentation, and its embedded original assets. It does not redistribute Among Us, BepInEx, Reactor, MiraAPI, or any base-game file.

Installation

Close Among Us.
Install the required BepInEx IL2CPP x64, Reactor, and MiraAPI versions.
Extract this ZIP into the Among Us game directory. The included DLL lands at BepInEx/plugins/ArsonistRoleMod.dll.
Start Among Us normally. The required mod stamp should appear.
Select Create Game, switch on USE ARSONIST?, and choose the chance.

Do not load this file beside the private multi-role AmongUsJester.dll, which already contains the Arsonist. The dedicated Arsonist plug-in declares that build incompatible and refuses a conflicting load. It can coexist with the separate Jester-only and Glitch-only CurseForge projects.

Multiplayer and public games

This is an all-client mod. Unmodified players cannot join a modded lobby. The plug-in adds compatible community-operated modded regions for public matches between players running identical builds. Official matchmaking is not bypassed, and community-region availability is not guaranteed.

Removal

Close the game, then remove BepInEx/plugins/ArsonistRoleMod.dll. You may also remove BepInEx/config/carol.amongus.arsonist.curseforge.cfg.
