Important: Blizzard macro changes have broken this addon. It currently DOES NOT WORK. I may get it working again in a very limited capacity sometime in the future, but so many features would need to be cut that it's not going to be able to do what it was created to do.

 
ZooKeeper provides keybindings and slash commands to summon mounts and pets. You can also randomize your mount, set favorites, and use shapeshift forms when mounting isn't possible. The correct mount is summoned in all areas of Dalaran.

This addon is very configurable. You can limit which mounts and pets are used, and disable features that don't suit you.

How to Use

Set a keybinding in Options -> Keyndings -> ZooKeeper.

Alternatively, you can make a macro using the slash commands listed below.

Slash Commands

Put these slash commands into macros (/m) to use Zoo Keeper.

/click ZKM

(ZKM is for ZooKeeper Mount. This slash command is the same as using the Mount keybinding.)

Summons a random mount. Can also do some other stuff! Details below.

/click ZKP

(ZKP is for ZooKeeper Pet. This slash command is the same as using the Pet keybinding.)

Summons a random companion. Randomization does not work in combat, and instead the most recent pet will be summoned. Does work work at all during combat in WotLK.

What else can the Mount function do?

When out of combat, ZooKeeper will check which of your mounts are the fastest, and summon a random one of those. You can set favorites to limit the selection.

Zoo Keeper may also be configured to use some class abilities which serve a similar purpose as mounting. Many of these are able to be used in combat, and ZooKeeper will attempt to use the best option available.

• Flight Form or Swift Flight Form. This will be preferred for druids unless a faster mount exists.
• Aquatic Form.
• Travel Form.
• Cat Form (if talented to grant movement speed).
• Ghost Wolf.
• Aspect of the Cheetah / Aspect of the Pack.
• Crusader Aura.

 
ZooKeeper can also equip and use certain dungeon/raid items.

• Molten Core: Eternal Quintessence and Aqual Quintessence.
• Karazhan: Blackened Urn for Nightbane (only during TBC).
• Serpentshrine Cavern: Tainted Core for Lady Vashj.
• The Eye: All legendary weapons for Kael'thas (equip and use).
• Battle for Mount Hyjal: Tears of the Goddess for Archimonde.
• Black Temple: Naj'entus Spine for High Warlord Naj'entus.
• Oculus: All dragon mounts.
• Ulduar: Magnetic Core for Mimiron.
• Icecrown Citadel: Goblin Rocket Pack for Icecrown Gunship Battle (equip and use).
