Narrated zone lore for ZoneLore, at full 128 kbps quality. This addon is data only — it does nothing on its own.
Beta: this is not the finished voice
What's in this pack is a proof of concept. Every line is recorded and the whole thing works end to end, but the voice was chosen to get all lines made at once. Delivery might be flat, audio can be bad, pronunciation can be wrong.
Fixing that isn't a per-line edit — it's a different voice and a fresh pass over the whole script, which means generating all 1000+ lines again. Each one costs money to synthesise and time to listen back to, which is the reason it's taking a while: it lands in batches, as it can be paid for.
The lore text these lines are read from is in beta too. It's read from warcraft.wiki.gg and trimmed automatically, so some entries run long or stop at an awkward point. Where the text gets rewritten, the narration for it gets regenerated — so a re-download now and then is expected while this settles.
If a line reads badly, report it. There's a Feedback button on lore.rusty.one, and the re-record is driven by what comes in. Supporting the project pays for the generation directly.
Which pack to install
Two packs, identical content at different bitrates:

This is the larger pack. If ~790 MB is more than you want to spend, ZoneLore Audio 64 has the same lines at 64 kbps mono for half the size — close to transparent for speech.
Both can be installed at once — ZoneLore plays the higher-quality one, and /zl audio switches between them.
Installing
Install ZoneLore first; this pack is inert without it. Extract into Interface/AddOns so the folder sits alongside ZoneLore, and leave the folder name as shipped — ZoneLore finds packs by folder name.
Neither addon declares a hard dependency on the other, so install order doesn't matter.
Compatibility
Built for Classic Era 1.15.9. The pack and ZoneLore work together as long as they share a major version.
