Zhaohu's Decursive

A lightweight, WoW 12.1-native dispel assistant built for fast, simple cleansing.

Zhaohu's Decursive provides compact clickable party squares that immediately show when a party member has a harmful effect you can dispel.

When a dispellable debuff is detected, the affected player's square lights up neon red. Simply click the square to cast your appropriate dispel spell on that player.

The addon was built specifically around the World of Warcraft 12.1 aura system, avoiding older aura-scanning methods that are no longer reliable with Blizzard's protected and secret aura data.

How It Works

Zhaohu's Decursive uses Blizzard's modern managed aura system to identify harmful effects that your character can dispel.

When someone in your party receives a dispellable effect:

Their square lights up neon red → Click the square → The addon casts your dispel on that player.

There is no need to change targets.

Party Layout

Squares are automatically arranged by group role:

Tank → Healer → DPS → DPS → DPS

The P identifies your own character wherever you appear in the role order.

This makes it easier to visually match Zhaohu's Decursive with role-sorted party frames.

Moving and Resizing

Unlock the control bar and drag Zhaohu's Decursive anywhere on your UI.

Square size can be adjusted directly from the control bar using the - and + buttons.

Once positioned, lock the addon to prevent accidental movement.

The control bar can also be hidden for a clean, minimal interface.

Why Zhaohu's Decursive?

World of Warcraft 12.1 introduced major changes to how addons are allowed to access aura and debuff information.

Zhaohu's Decursive was created from the ground up for the new system instead of attempting to force older aura-scanning code to work under the new restrictions.

The goal is simple:

Detect. Cleanse. Protect.

Fast visual feedback, one-click dispelling, and no unnecessary UI clutter.

Installation

1. Download and extract the addon.

2. Copy the Decurse12 folder into:

   World of Warcraft/_retail_/Interface/AddOns/

3. Start or reload World of Warcraft.

4. Make sure Zhaohu's Decursive is enabled in the AddOns list.
