XE QoL 4.6
What's new
What is new in 4.6
Quest Route (new add-on, in the same download)
- A levelling route from 1 to 60 for both factions as simple stops: go here, pick these up, kill those, hand in. Town stops are grouped by NPC, field objectives can be done in any order, only what is left is shown.
- The arrow says what to do Now and what comes Then; far away it plans the way first (flight path, boat / zeppelin, hearthstone).
- Pick a guide: the automatic route for your race and level, all levels, class quest chains, and a quest route per dungeon (pick up its quests and their chains city by city, go to the entrance, hand them in).
- Missed: the quests the route passed that you can still do, and where.
- Shopping and training wait in their own list (the spells your class trainer has for you now, food and drink, repair).
- An XR button on a quest's details jumps the route to it.
- Click a skull to target the mob; the targeting window follows the stop.
Setup and profiles
- The setup wizard replaces the welcome panel: three parts per page, an On / Off switch, three plain lines and a live preview for every part, a big Move XE's frames now button, and one reload at the end.
- Profiles: settings per character. A new character is asked once: use or copy another character's profile, run the wizard, or start from scratch.
- New default positions for every XE frame; an XE addon button in the game menu; XE's move boxes open with Blizzard's Edit Mode, labelled "XE ...".
Guides
- Talent guide redone: one window with a Now card (your next talent or points to spend), the build picked once per character, the plan as a timeline, and a Spells tab (at your trainer now / next levels).
- Dungeon guide: a card per dungeon, your level first; a page per dungeon with its quest chains in words and "Next step".
- Group finder: a step-by-step panel - join or find players, dungeon, your roles (more than one), level and class filters, class-coloured lists.
Other
- Loot rolls window: every group roll in one place, with Need / Greed / Pass buttons, instead of the chat spam; it opens in the middle.
- Party buffs: who is missing the buffs you can give, click to buff.
- Range check: the target's range as text, green / orange / red.
- Gear upgrades: new gear you can use goes straight into an empty slot.
- Targeting macros: Tidy by itself after an objective is done (only the macros XE made), drop-quest mobs, a skull icon.
- Per-character lists: auto-destroy, known flight paths, item counts.
/xe selftestopens every XE window once and reports any error;/xe perfshows XE's memory and the frame rate while you play.
Fixes
- Seal tracker: Judgement does not use up the seal on Forever; a seal put up in combat keeps the right timer; no seal shows a red X.
- No "blocked action" spam from the range check in fights.
- The missing-buff reminder stays hidden while you are dead.
- The raid marker always sits above the nameplate.
- Reload asks with a real Reload button (the game blocks add-ons from reloading by themselves).
The Quest Route's levelling routes up to level 30 are adapted from the RestedXP
