WorldWhisper aims to create occasional random ambient chat bubbles over target nameplates to create the illusion that the target also spotted the player from a distance using quirky messages and light banter.
This is an experimental idea and just a way to add a bit of life to the average NPC.
- Different messages and color for hostile and friendly units.
- Different messages and color per creature type: Humanoid, Demon, Dragonkin, Giant, Mechanical, Undead.
- Messages are gated to 6 every 30-ish seconds for hostile and 1 every 30-ish second for friendly.
- Messages can include the player's name, class, race, location.
- Can be different depending on the time (day, night).
- Special faction messages for high Reputation or Renown.
- Styled like the default chat bubbles.
You didn't really think you were standing 10mts away from mobs and they didn't see you, didn't you? Yeah, they do.
