Description
Wick's Quest Key
Retail-style ExtraActionButton for TBC Classic. One bind to use the active quest item, auto-detected from your quest log.
If you've ever quested in Retail and missed the way the ExtraActionButton just knew which quest item to fire, this is that — back-ported to Burning Crusade Classic. No list to curate, no per-quest config, no macros to maintain.
What it does
- Auto-detects quest items from every quest in your log via the same API Blizzard's own auto-quest-item button uses.
- One bind, every item. Press to use the current item; press again to use the next one. The icon updates so you always see what's armed.
- Right-click to skip to the next item without consuming the current one.
- Bind shown on the button. The hotkey label sits in the top-right corner — no guessing.
- Hides when empty. No usable quest items? The button gets out of the way.
- Drag to position.
/wqk unlock, drag,/wqk lock. Position is saved per character.
Why use it
TBC Classic still surfaces quest items in clunky, scattered ways — sometimes as an item on your bars, sometimes only via the quest log button, never with a stable bind. Quest Key gives you one keypress that always does the right thing.
Slash commands
/wqk— show currently loaded quest items/wqk unlock— unlock the button to drag it/wqk lock— lock it in place/wqk reset— reset position to default
