📖 What is it?

WhenBuff Ingame brings live data from WhenBuff.com directly into your WoW Classic client. See the latest Onyxia, Nefarian, Rend and Zul’Gurub buff drops – no browser needed.

🧩 Installation

  1. Install via the CurseForge App and keep Auto Update enabled (VERY IMPORTANT TO GET THE NEWEST BUFFS!).
    The addon will always stay up to date automatically.
  2. Or manually download and place the folder into:
    World of Warcraft\_classic_\Interface\AddOns\WhenBuffIngame
  3. In-game, type /wb or /whenbuff to open the window.

🔄 How Updates Work

  • New buff data is generated automatically every few minutes on the WhenBuff servers.
  • The latest version is uploaded to CurseForge automatically – you just need Auto Update enabled.
  • When a new dataset is detected in-game, you’ll see a chat message like:
    [WhenBuff] New data available – type /reload to refresh
  • Simply type /reload or click the reload button to see the latest timers.

⚙️ Commands

  • /wb or /whenbuff – toggle main window
  • /wb test – play test alerts (30/20/10/5 min sounds)
  • /wb hide – hide
  • /wb show – show 
  • /wb mini – show/hide the mini ui (right click on the mini ui, maximize, hide, settings)

💬 Notes

  • The addon is completely client-side and safe to use (Blizzard API compliant).
  • No external login or API key required – everything updates automatically.
  • If timers look outdated, click reload or re-open the window – it will sync instantly.
