Description
## ToolTipped
**ToolTipped** is a lightweight companion addon that visually marks quest-relevant mobs using raid icons when their objectives are still incomplete.
If a mob’s tooltip shows progress like **1/6, 4/5, or 5/6**, it gets marked.
Once the objective is complete (**4/4, 5/5, 8/8**, etc.), the marker is automatically removed. -Working on Fix.
Built specifically for **Classic and TBC Anniversary**, where tooltip and quest data can be limited or inconsistent.
---
### Features
- Marks mobs with **incomplete quest objectives**
- Automatically ignores **completed objectives**
- Works on **target and mouseover**
- Uses tooltip objective data provided by Questie
- Optional **debug mode**
- Interface Options panel
- Enable or disable on the fly
- Minimal CPU and memory usage
---
### How it works
ToolTipped scans unit tooltips for objective progress patterns (**X/Y**).
If any objective is incomplete, the mob is marked with a raid icon so you can easily identify quest targets in crowded areas.
No databases.
No guessing.
Only what your quests actually need.
---
### Commands
/tt enable – Enable ToolTipped
/tt disable – Disable ToolTipped
/tt debug – Toggle debug output
/tt check – Force re-check current target
/tt clear – Clear marker from current target
---
### Options
Esc → Interface Options → AddOns → ToolTipped
You can configure:
- Enable / Disable
- Debug output
- Completion re-check interval
---
### Requirements
- Questie (recommended for tooltip objective data)
- World of Warcraft Classic / TBC Anniversary
ToolTipped is a companion addon and does not modify Questie directly.
---
### Notes
- Raid icons require appropriate group permissions (standard WoW behavior)
- “Out of Date” warnings are cosmetic if Interface numbers differ
- Designed to stay out of your way unless a quest actually needs the mob
