Description
This addon tracks treasure locations and automatically generates a connected, optimized route between them. The route forms a continuous loop from point to point and back to the start, allowing it to be followed in-game. It is intended to help collect treasures that grant weekly Knowledge Points.
Treasure names must be defined manually in the options, after which they can be tracked and used to build routes. Routes are generated and managed automatically by the addon based on tracked treasures, with options to rebuild, optimize, toggle, and import/export them.
If you want to optimize the route you can use the Routing: Cluster settings in the options. The pink circles on the world map show how the points used for route planning changed after you clicked the “Create cluster points” button. A good starting point will be 1.0 for the Merge radius and 3.0 for the group radius.
If you want to exclude a point from route building just alt left click it on the world map. Yellow treasure points turn into red when excluded, pink cluster route points turn into a dark red.
The addon has multi language support for the midnight treasure names. It doesn't matter if there are english names in the list and you play e.g. with the german client. And it doesn't matter for the import/export function as well.
My discovered treasure locations and tracked treasure names from midnight are imported automatically. Auto-import can be disabled in the options, and the imported treasure locations can be deleted if someone wants to discover everything on their own.
Theres a button in the options to import my data with just one click: "Add Midnight preset." Just in case something goes wrong with the auto import.
Note: The more treasures already on your route, the longer recalculation takes when finding a new one, and the game will briefly freeze. If this bothers you, you can turn off automatic route recalculation in the options and recalculate it manually later when you're done flying around.
