TransPose — changelog
1.0.0 — 2026-07-25
The first out-of-beta release and a MASSIVE update!
New
Creature/model library — 13,000+ distinct appearances added to Add a Figure by display id — not just creatures but NPCs, world props and effects (plants, portals, a wheelchair…), each typed (props read as Object) and searchable by name and type. It's under its own Misc chip, kept out of the default "All" view so it doesn't bury the quick sources. Built from current retail data with every display id validated, and loaded lazily so it costs nothing until you open the browser.
Journal bosses show their raid/dungeon next to the name in Add a Figure, and it's searchable — typing a raid name filters to its bosses.
"Clear filters" button on Add a Figure — one click back to All + an empty search.
Hide any gear slot — a two-column, character-sheet-ordered grid of toggles for gear and weapons
Copy your target's outfit — inspect a player and dress a figure exactly like them.
Hover preview — mouse over a row in Add a Figure to see a portrait of that figure.
In-Game Camera — a floating shutter button (S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera icon) that snaps your target into the studio in one click. New config section: show/hide, hide-during-combat, a background-colour picker, and a label toggle.
Keyboard shortcuts while the studio is open (and not typing): Space play/pause, Arrows move the selected figure, + / − closer/farther, [ / ] previous/next figure, C capture, R reset. Listed in the Controls cheat-sheet. They claim only the keys they use, so nothing leaks into normal play and nothing is bound while it's closed.
Minimap button — a logo pin on the minimap ring. Left-click opens the studio, right-click opens the settings; drag it around the ring to move it. Hide it from the config.
Live-world backdrop now auto-hides the game UI (keeps the studio) for a clean shot.
Fixed
Apply-to-all now poses every figure (e.g. Cheer), not just the last one added.
Reset returns figures to idle instead of leaving them stuck mid-animation.
Shapeshift & alternate forms:
- Saved forms are now per character — a druid no longer sees another alt's forms.
- Worgen/dracthyr body labels were swapped and generic — now correct and race-specific.
- Shapeshift forms are druid-only (other classes' "forms" are shaders that render as an untextured white model), so a shadow priest no longer opens white.
The figures search always starts tucked behind the magnifier; its Add button matches the (slightly slimmer) search box height so the two align on one row.
Faster "Add a Figure" — the catalog (Encounter Journal walk, mount/pet enumeration, sort) is now warmed a beat after the studio opens instead of on the first click, the sort no longer rebuilds favorite keys on every comparison, and the search box is debounced.
The tutorial ("?") now closes the mouse-controls cheat-sheet as it opens and forces itself on top, so its callout can't be hidden behind that panel. Its callout now parks beside the element it's describing (and switches to the right tab first, so the cast is actually on screen when it's explained). The Controls step comes second now and shows the live cheat-sheet text (mouse + keys) instead of prose that could drift.
The Add-a-Figure quick-add buttons ("Your character", "Current target") lost the gold "primary" highlight that read like a stuck selection — all three now match.
Known limitations
- Shapeshift forms are druid-only — other classes' "forms" (shadowform, ghost wolf) are shaders/passives that can't render as standalone models.
- Holdable props (torches, mugs, food) can't be held — only weapons/shields/off-hands.
