Transmog Improvements (Transmog Anywhere)

 

This is a simple addon to add some QoL improvements for Transmogrification.

 

Current Features:

  • Access Transmog UI from anywhere (See important caveats and details below)
  • Add a button to your UI that you can drag wherever you want (or disable it if you prefer)
    • The button appears in the centre of your screen by default and you can drag it to wherever you like (and it'll stay there) or you can disable it in the addon options.
    • Left-Clicking the button opens the Transmog menu from anywhere.
    • Right-Clicking the button opens an outfit bar for you to apply or unapply your existing transmog outfits, or remove all transmog appearances. (You don't need to waste action bar space on them any more)
    • Middle-clicking the button opens the addon options menu
    • Buttons have built-in support for skinning with Masque
  • Optional: Add Outfit numbers to the list in the Transmog UI
  • Optional: Adds a frame that suggests icons for an outfit based on appearances in the outfit

 

 

Planned Features:

  • Add Transmog Outfit selection to character pane (beside Equipment Manager)

  • Click the on-screen button added by this addon

Limitations

 

There are some important limitations to be aware of with this feature, enforced by Blizzard and subject to change at their whim.

These limitations apply when you are NOT at a Transmog NPC.

 

Please make sure you are aware of the difference between Outfits and Custom Sets in the new (Midnight) Transmog system.

 

 

You CAN:

  • Browse existing Transmog Outfits and:
    1. Apply them
    2. Un-apply them
    3. Pick them up (to put on action bars, etc.)
  • Preview Transmog changes
  • Browse and modify Custom Sets

 

You CANNOT:

  • Purchase new Outfit Slots
  • Save changes to Outfits (Name, Icon, Appearances/Slots, Situations, etc.)

 

 

Compatibility

  • WoW Midnight 12.x+

Other addons that make changes to the Transmog UI may break this one, or break because of this one. Use common sense when combining addons that modify the same parts of the game UI.
