Town Clothes

DISCONTINUED: As of WoW 12.0, this feature is built into the game! 

Town Clothes is a simple addon that toggles a dedicated equipment set while in rested areas, allowing for a dedicated town transmog!

Preparing Your Town Clothes

The addon will create two new equipment sets:

• "Town Clothes" - Save your town items to this set. We recommend purchasing a cheap set of low level gear to use and transmog separately to your combat gear.
• "Auto TCInactive" - When switching to your Town Clothes, your currently equipped gear will be saved here for switching back. There's no need to update this manually!

Town Clothes HUD

While in a rested area with the addon enabled, you'll see a message at the top of your screen telling you whether your Town Clothes are equipped along with a button allowing you to manually toggle them.

You can move the HUD by dragging it.

Settings

Open the settings menu by typing "/tc" in chat or navigating to "Options" -> "Addons" -> "Town Clothes.

Character Settings

These settings are per-character and will only affect the character you change them on.

• Town Clothes Enabled - Toggle the addon for this specific character. Useful if you have a lovely transmog you don't want to change in town!
• Show HUD - Toggle the Town Clothes HUD.

Global Settings

These settings are global and will affect all of your characters.

• Auto Switch - When enabled, your Town Clothes will be automatically toggled when entering/exiting a rested zone. If you'd rather switch manually using the HUD button, disable this option.
  • This can also be toggled from the equipment set manager directly.
• HUD Switch Button - Whether to show a button on the HUD for equipping/unequipping your Town Clothes set manually.
• HUD Transparency - Adjust the transparency of the HUD.
• Reset HUD - Resets the position of the HUD. Useful if you've lost it under a window or off-screen.
