TokenPriceDisplay is a comprehensive World of Warcraft addon that tracks and displays the current WoW Token market price with historical data visualization, price alerts, and extensive customization options.

Features

• Live WoW Token Price Display: Shows the current market price in a compact, movable window with optional trend indicators (up/down arrows).
• Dual Display Modes: Choose between text label ("WoW Token: XX,XXXg") or icon mode (displaying the actual WoW Token icon).
• Customizable Update Frequency: Select how often to check for price updates — 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hour.
• Price History Window: View your token price history as a bar chart showing the last 3.5 to 42 days of data (depending on update frequency).
  • Dynamic Y-axis scaling ensures price variations are always visible
  • Color-coded bars: Green (price increased), Red (price decreased), Gray (no change)
  • Hover over any bar to see the exact price and timestamp
  • Statistics showing session high, low, and total data points
  • Access via right-click on the main frame or /tpd history command
• Smart Data Recording: Only records price changes if 4+ minutes have passed since logging in or switching toons, preventing duplicate entries while capturing market data.
• Price Alerts: Set custom low and high price thresholds (in gold) and receive chat notifications when the market price crosses your thresholds. Includes a 4-minute cooldown to prevent spam when logging in or switching characters.
• Fully Customizable Appearance:
  • Change frame border color and transparency
  • Change text color
  • Toggle price change arrows on/off
  • Adjust icon size (when in icon mode)
  • Access settings via /tpd settings or the Interface Options menu
• Movable & Persistent: Drag the window anywhere on your screen; position saves between sessions.
• Right-Click Access: Right-click the main display to quickly open the Price History window.

Usage

• Move Window: Left-click and drag to reposition
• Open History: Right-click the main frame, or type /tpd history
• Open Settings: Type /tpd settings or find it in Interface Options → AddOns
• Reset to Defaults: Available in the settings window under Actions

Data Storage

The addon maintains up to 1,008 price entries (approximately 3.5 days at 5-minute intervals, or up to 42 days at 1-hour intervals) and automatically removes entries older than 7 days to optimize performance.
