Description
TalentReminder is a lightweight addon that helps you remember to equip the right talents when entering specific zones — whether that's a dungeon, a raid, a PvP zone, or any outdoor area where your usual build isn't optimal.
The problem it solves
Most seasoned players maintain different talent setups depending on what content they're doing. A Mythic+ build looks nothing like an open-world questing build, and forgetting to swap a single node before a pull can mean a missing cooldown, a weaker defensive, or an absent utility spell right when your group needs it. TalentReminder catches those moments automatically.
How it works
You configure a list of Zone ID + Talent pairs through a simple in-game panel (/talrem). Whenever you enter a configured zone, the addon checks whether you have those talents selected. If any are missing, their icons and names appear in the center of your screen as a clear visual reminder. The moment you pick the talent, it disappears from the list — no noise, no clutter.

/talremopens the configuration panel- "Use Current Zone" button auto-fills your current location so you never have to look up a zone ID manually
- Live name previews for both zone and talent IDs as you type
- Reminder updates in real time when you change individual talent nodes, swap specs, or switch loadouts
- Talent list is stored per class — your Warrior setup won't bleed into your Druid
Who is it for
Any player who regularly switches between content types : for example shamans forgetting to get curse dispel in dungeons with lots of curses ( it never happened to me *cough* )
NOTICE : Addon is purely vibe coded, mostly making it for my friends.
it can 100% be improved by professional addon makers ( or integrated as a feature in another addon with multiple quality of life features ).
