Description
This is a simple addon that pops up a fishing interface when a fishing rod is equipped. If a character logs in with a rod equipped, the frame will display automatically. If desired, the interface can be closed, but will not pop up until a fishing rod is re-equipped. I haven't tested it yet, but believe it should support localization. Until I'm certain, I'm going to assume it's not localized at this point.
There is no method to auto-click the bobber. That's on you. This is just to make fishing in Classic era a little bit easier.
Features as of the first release:
- The character's current/maximum skill and any skill modifiers the character has
- Cast button that will attempt to cast as if the fishing button is pressed
- A pulldown menu listing all stacks of lures in bags. Clicking on any of the lure icons will attempt to apply it to the equipped fishing rod.
Future plans:
- More error checking, still a bit rough around the edges
- Lure stat values on dropdown
- Lure stack info
- Better styling for skill info
- Addon panel configuration
- Button to re-show the Tacklebox frame when hidden
