Play custom sounds when you cast spells!

SkillSoundCustomizer lets you assign custom sounds to any spell or ability. Whether you want epic sound effects for your main rotation or fun sounds for specific skills, this addon makes it easy.

📖 How to Use

  1. Type /ssc to open the main window
  2. Use your abilities in combat - they will be automatically collected
  3. Click a skill from the left panel (Collected Skills)
  4. Select a sound from the dropdown menu
  5. Click "Register" - Done!

🎵 Adding Custom Sounds

  1. Place your .ogg or .mp3 files in: Interface\AddOns\SkillSoundCustomizer\Sounds\
  2. Restart WoW (files must exist before launch)
  3. In the addon, enter the full path in the "Sound ID/Path" field: Interface\AddOns\SkillSoundCustomizer\Sounds\mysound.ogg
  4. Click "Apply"

🎮 Supported Sound Formats

  • .ogg (recommended)
  • .mp3
  • WoW SoundKitID (numeric)

💡 Tips

  • Casting/Channeling Skills: Sound plays when cast STARTS (not when it finishes)
  • Instant Cast Skills: Sound plays immediately on use
  • Finding SoundKitIDs: Check wago.tools/db2/SoundKitEntry
  • Free Sound Resources: Freesound.org, Pixabay.com, Zapsplat.com

🐛 Known Issues
