Description
The SlackerTracker addon is a tool designed to help the player (best used by raid leaders and officers) track certain behaviors of other raid members during raids or events in World of Warcraft. It focuses on identifying potential slackers based on their actions, or lack of, and gives a "slacker score" to each raid member.
Essentially, it can be viewed as the many damage informer mods. This only displays the "slacker score" to the person that has the addon, no one else. For instance, if I have the addon, and I'm a raid leader. Throughout THAT SPECIFIC RAID it calculates how much work people are putting in, I.E, if they're AFKing for too long, etc.
How it Works: Distance Tracking ("Too Far"):
- The addon checks if any raid members are too far from the player (you).
- If any raid member is more than 28 yards away from you, the addon adds 1 point to their "slacker score" for every second they are out of range.
Out of Combat ("OOC"):
- The addon checks if the player (you) are in combat.
- If the player is in combat, and any raid member is out of combat (not fighting), they get 1 point for every second they remain out of combat while you are still fighting.
Stationary Tracking:
- The addon tracks if a raid member is stationary while you (the player) are moving.
- If the player is moving, and a raid member is not moving, the addon adds 1 point to the raid member’s "slacker score" for every second they remain stationary while you are moving.
Tracking Other Stats:
- The addon also tracks basic actions like AFK time (when members are away from their keyboard) and how much time each member spends stationary.
Slacker Scores:
- The addon calculates a "slacker score" for each raid member based on their AFK time, stationary time, too far time, and out of combat time.
- It sorts the raid members by their slacker score and displays the results in a list, showing which raid members are slacking the most.
