Sentinel Hunter Tools
A comprehensive utility addon for all classes. Hunters and Warlocks receive the full feature set including pet/demon monitoring and intelligent spell targeting. All other classes get gateway alerts, buff tracking, consumable reminders, interrupt tracking.
Works For All Classes
Sentinel Hunter Tools is no longer just for Hunters and Warlocks. Every class now has access to the core utility features: Demonic Gateway proximity alerts, customizable buff reminders, consumable tracking, interrupt cooldown tracker. The addon automatically adapts its interface based on your class, showing only the features relevant to you.
Hunter Features
- Pet Reminders - Alerts when your pet is missing, dead, not attacking, incapacitated, set to passive, or low on health with customizable visual and audio warnings
- Smart Misdirect - Intelligently targets Misdirection to your focus, tank, or party/raid members with cross-realm support
- Combat Tracker - Tracker for Howl of the Pack Leader and Beast summons, personal interrupt tracker with optional sound warning when your interrupt is off cooldown

- Content-Aware - Automatically adjusts behavior based on whether you are in a dungeon, raid, or PvP instance

Sentinel CDM (Cooldown Manager)
Sentinel CDM is a companion module that gives you full control over Blizzard's built-in Cooldown Manager. It ships inside the same ZIP and works for Hunters and all classes, though Hunter Bars are Hunter-specific for now.
CDM is disabled by default. To enable it, open the AddOns list from the character select screen (or type /addons in-game) and check the box next to Sentinel CDM. After a reload, the CDM sidebar page will appear in the SHT options panel.
Icon Containers
Rearrange and restyle the three built-in CDM containers -- Essential, Utility, and Aura abilities -- with independent sizing, spacing, rows, and columns. Drag-and-drop spells to reorder them, open the scanned abilities palette to add new ones, and right-click to set Conditionals that auto-hide abilities when untalented and bring them back when you respec.
Bars
- Resource Bar -- a repositionable Focus/Mana bar with customizable width, height, color, and font
- Secondary Resource Bar -- tracks secondary resources like Runes, Soul Shards, Combo Points, and similar class mechanics with configurable appearance
- Hunter Bars -- spec-specific horizontal bars for Beast Mastery, Survival, and Marksmanship with built-in charge bar animations and cooldown tracking
- Ability Bars -- class-agnostic ability bars available to all classes; add any tracked spell with charge support
- Buff Bars -- horizontal progress bars for monitoring active buffs with countdown text, icons, and stack display
- Custom Bars -- add any spell, item, or racial cooldown you want to track outside the standard containers; supports anchoring to Resource Bar, Hunter Bars, Ability Bars, and other frames
Per-Ability Settings
Open Icon Settings on any ability to configure it individually:
- Ready and cooldown state alpha
- Four independent glow triggers: Ready State, Aura Active, Aura Missing, and Proc -- each with five glow styles (Blizzard, Pixel, AutoCast, Button, Proc Effect) and adjustable color, scale, and intensity
- Live glow previews that display directly on the icon as you adjust settings
- Range indicator tinting for out-of-range abilities
- Desaturation for unlearned or untalented abilities
Proc Overlays
Full-screen spell overlay textures triggered by procs, matching Blizzard's built-in overlay system. Browse and select overlay textures from an integrated texture browser with search and live preview.
Profiles
Create, copy, rename, delete, and switch between named profiles. Each profile stores all layout, visual, and ability settings independently. Profiles can auto-switch by specialization, and with Hero Tree Profiles enabled, by hero spec as well. Import and export profiles to share setups between characters or with other players.
Layout and Positioning
- Lock Frames Together groups all CDM containers into a single draggable unit on the unlock screen with arrow-key nudge support
- Frame name labels on every CDM frame during positioning mode
- Right-click any frame during positioning mode to jump directly to its settings page
- Full config preview for Auras and Buffs containers so you can adjust appearance settings without needing an active buff
Compatibility
- Masque skinning support across all icon containers including Custom Bars
- Works in restricted content (Mythic+, raids, Follower Dungeons, PvP) using secret-value-safe APIs throughout
