RetzerPlates

A nameplate addon for World of Warcraft: Midnight that looks great the moment you install it.

RetzerPlates is designed to be pixel-perfect out of the box — no spending hours tweaking settings. Install, /reload, and you're done. The addon auto-detects your resolution and UI scale, then sizes everything to match. Every element is built from scratch for crisp, clean visuals at any display setup.

Features

• Health bars with class coloring, reaction coloring, and tapped unit support
• Absorb shields overlay using Midnight's heal prediction API
• Cast bars with spell icon, interruptible/non-interruptible coloring, interrupt source display, and fade animations
• Threat coloring with separate color schemes for tanks and DPS/healers
• Aura tracking — debuffs and buffs with cooldown spirals, duration timers, and stack counts. Uses Blizzard's own nameplate aura filtering to show only meaningful buffs/debuffs
• Crowd control icons — dedicated CC display with prominent icons
• Execute indicators — auto-detects execute thresholds per class/spec/talents (Warrior, Hunter, Mage, Priest, Paladin, Warlock, Rogue, Death Knight, Monk)
• Quest indicators — shows quest objective progress on relevant mobs
• Target arrows — chevron indicators on your current target
• Raid markers — displays raid target icons on nameplates
• Unit classification — elite/rare/boss dragon icons
• Level display with difficulty coloring
• Name and title/guild text
• Mouseover highlight
• Simplified plates — pets, totems, minions, and minor mobs get compact plates with reduced visual clutter

Auto-Scaling

Sizes are automatically adjusted on first install based on your display. Defaults are tuned for 1440p at pixel-perfect UI scale — the addon scales proportionally for 1080p, 4K, or any other setup. You can recalculate at any time from the Profiles settings tab.

Configuration

Type /rp in-game to open the settings panel. Every feature is configurable — sizes, colors, visibility, fonts, and more. Full profile support with create, copy, delete, and reset.
