A simple tool to copy and paste the names of your raid members.

Description

Raid Names

Raid Names is a lightweight World of Warcraft addon that opens a small, draggable text window where you can quickly build and copy lists of players in your current raid (or party). It’s designed for leaders and organizers who need to paste names into macros, notes, or raid sheets.

What it does

Shows a floating, draggable window (position is saved between sessions; lock/unlock/reset via slash commands).

Inserts names at your cursor position inside the text box—so if you add a newline first, the output goes exactly there.

Names are horizontal, separated by a single space (no commas, no line breaks), and realm names are removed (character name only).

Always appends a trailing space after the last name inserted, every time you press a button.

Buttons

G1 … G8: Inserts the members of that specific raid subgroup.

Tutti (All): Inserts all raid (or party) members.

1324: Inserts two lines:

  • Line 1 → Groups 1 + 3
  • Line 2 → Groups 2 + 4

1234: Inserts two lines:

  • Line 1 → Groups 1 + 2
  • Line 2 → Groups 3 + 4

Select All: Highlights all text in the box (press Ctrl/Cmd-C to copy).

Copy All: Also focuses and highlights the text (press Ctrl/Cmd-C to copy; the game can’t write directly to your clipboard).

Clear All: Empties the text box.

Close: Hides the window.

In party, Group 1 is treated as your whole group; buttons for other groups are disabled.
