What's new

  • 45,214 of 73,863 entries (61%) are now hand-reviewed instead of only simple translator run

  • Another 3,000 words checked one by one against the quest sentence they appear in: the translation tested for false friends, wrong senses of ambiguous words, missed official WoW names and wrong grammatical forms, and a short note added where the word has something to teach — a compound broken into its parts, a separable verb, the case a preposition takes.

  • Pairs with WordHunterWoW 1.6.0, which fixes a lookup bug that kept 466 German words in this dictionary — Überreste, Ärger, Überlebenden and every other word starting with an accented capital — from ever being found. If you are updating one, update both.

  • The remaining 39% is still raw machine translation and is being worked through.
