What's new

## 0.2.45

- Fix the startup block and unavailable Controller Settings after upgrading to Questie 12.1.0 / QuestieDB 1.0.6. Accept both 12.1 and 12.1.0 metadata spellings, plus the 12.1.x release series. Preserve earlier 12.0.x support and runtime loader/pin/adapter validation.
- Require QuestieDB 1.0.6+ within 1.0.x for Questie 12.1.x, matching its provider contract-4 dependency. Retain the earlier 12.0.x provider minimum, strict malformed/patched/future-series refusal and informational build-commit diagnostics.
- Recognize both tested 1.0.5/1.0.6 provider commits in diagnostics and add the verified 12.1.0 gossip status. Preserve the native controller quest-log restriction added by Questie while the default tracker title/objective selection still reaches the addon arrow.
- Extend startup/status/default-tracker regressions, adapt engine fixtures to current upstream tooltip and secret-message behavior, and test the actual shipped Forever provider's contract and live objective/turn-in/portrait reads. Retain native L3 markers, both arrow styles, transport selection, tracker settings/timers and tooltip cleanup checks. Test against Questie 12.0.2–12.0.4 and 12.1.0; actual WoW taint/controller/rendering verification remains pending.

## 0.2.44

- Connect Blizzard's native **L3 / left-stick click Map Marker** action to both addon arrow styles. Use the viewed map's exact cursor position; retain the native pin, device-specific prompt, tooltip and bindings. Native removal returns navigation to the previously selected quest objective.
- Give the actual native marker under the mouse/controller cursor priority over an overlapping Questie icon, including its tooltip and Focus action. Restore Questie hover/preview after leaving it. Bounds checks prevent a distant closest marker from suppressing other icons.
- Reuse the existing faction-aware boat/zeppelin routing for remote native markers, with automatic exact-coordinate handoff after landing. Work in both tracker modes and retain coordinate/arrival caches across progress and map refreshes.
- Reconcile saved native marker state on reload and recover late integration, missed placement events and temporarily unavailable coordinates. Preserve explicit saved coordinate commands over older markers; new gestures and quest Focus take priority. Removing an unrelated marker does not clear a coordinate command.
- Add target source and native marker state/counters to `/qfg way status`. Observe native marker APIs/events through an addon-owned frame; make no addon writes to native waypoint/map/watch state, native fields, callbacks, controller bindings or actionbars.
- Add 60 native-controller waypoint checks per installed arrow style using the actual pinned Blizzard L3 method and synchronous event order. Extend tooltip ownership to 77 checks, preserve all existing regressions and run compatibility against Questie 12.0.2–12.0.4. Live WoW controller/taint/rendering verification remains pending.

## 0.2.43

- Resolve duplicate tracked-quest tooltip presentation by yielding the addon tooltip/immersive preview while the matching native tooltip is visible. Restore presentation automatically when it closes. Retain mouse/controller target, highlight and action context; preserve native tooltip, quest-blob and map/sidebar callbacks.
- Cover native quest areas/POIs, exact map/minimap icon owners and Questie tracker lines. Add `/qfg hover status` handoff/recovery diagnostics and restore private opacity on leave, recycling and map close.
- Add custom coordinate targets to both arrow styles using `/qfg way <x> <y> [label]` or comma-separated coordinates. Use the current player zone, or `#mapID` for another map. Save the validated target across reloads and retain existing heading, distance and arrival behavior.
- Register `/qfgway` as a dedicated alias and `/way` when unclaimed. Preserve existing and late TomTom/other command owners. Invalid commands retain the previous valid target. `/qfg way clear` returns to quest navigation; explicit tracker/map quest selection and another native quest focus supersede the coordinate target.
- Route remote custom waypoints through the corrected faction-aware transport table, switch to the exact coordinate after landing, and reuse projection/arrival caches on progress refreshes. Retain no-route diagnostics and bounded recovery for unavailable maps. Custom waypoints use private arrow/preferences state.
- Add 70 native/private tooltip ownership checks, real immersive portrait suspension/recovery checks and 60 custom-waypoint checks per installed arrow style. Retain the boat-selection and tracker/mouse/controller regressions and run compatibility against Questie 12.0.2–12.0.4. Live WoW rendering/input/taint verification remains pending.
