THIS IS ADDON IS IN BETA VERSION. DO NOT USE IT AS A WARNER ADDON.
(although it does work fine for quite a lot of fights in Naxxramas, there are bugs all over the place)
This addon allows the programmers in your guild to easily create warnings for special abilities bosses use. Using the CTRA channel (s)he can then send an update to everyone in the raid so they have their own special GUI like timerbars, screen flashes and player targets (CTRA feature).
I personally used this on Grobbulus to make an announce for Mutating Injection in 5 minutes that included more features than CTRA bossmods ever will. After the first try I edited the data for the encounter and sent an update (simply used /wb bce grobbulus) to everyone using the addon. When they got the debuff their screen started flashing. Priests and Paladins automatically had players with the debuff added to their player targets and saw a timerbar for 10 seconds for that player they could click to select that player. The data for this encounter and a few more is included in this release.
Features:
- easily build warnings by editing some simply LUA code and reloading your UI
- send the new warnings to your raid members online using CTRA channel
- events that fire are broadcasted over CTRA so if you are out of range to receive a combat log message, the warning still works
- events include: engaging and disengaging a mob, combat log messages, mobhealth and self created timers
- actions include: /rw, /rs, /w, /raid, timerbars, player targets, screen flashes, very big warning text
- marks in time that help find timers on special abilities
- timer on screen
- seeing who has what version of the addon/encounter data
