Description
-What?
Pops a confirmation before accepting a trade, hopefully giving you that
extra split second that might just be enough to spot the scammer.
-Why?
Reading a lengthy thread on the wow-realm forums regarding scammers the idea of a confirmation pop-up in the likes of VeriFly came to mind. And shamelessly I modified Donans nifty VeriFly ( http://www.curse-gaming.com/mod.php?addid=562 ) to pop a confirmation when you press the "trade" button instead.
-Thanks to:
Donan, for writing VeriFly (ripped base from it)
Mya, for TradeLog (ripped info-string from it)
Sphinx, writing Sloc (since I was without an Internet-connection a few days I had to look at an addon for learning how to use slash-commands, which Sloc did nicely)
Curse-gaming.com, for it's addon-database :)
Eternalight on Sunstrider for helping me test it.
-Usage (1.5):
Quite simple, not much configurability, default it is set to behave like TradePal 1.0
/tradepal or /tradep - prints the commandlist
/tradepal toggle - enables/disables tradepal (popups and everything)
/tradepal info - shows you information about the current trade in the popup.
/tradepal norisk - disables confirmation popup if player does not trade anything (items or money) other than Conjured items or Healthstones.
/tradepal report - Reports your TradePal status and settings.
-Notes, NB!
Remember! Always, always double check your trade _before_ clicking accept the first time, _before_ TradePal's popup! I can not, and will not, guarantee it's functionality, furthermore it's generally a bad idea to become dependent on addons.
