Stop wasting action bar slots on mount macros. Mounto gives you one keybind that always picks the right mount for every situation — flying, ground, water, indoors — automatically. Assign your favorite mounts per category, and Mounto handles the rest.
Why 🐎Mounto?
We've all been there: a janky /cast [flyable] Mount1; [swimming] Mount2; Mount3 macro that breaks every patch. Or 4-5 action bar slots wasted on different mounts for different situations. Mounto replaces all of that with a single keybind that just works.
- One key, every situation. Flying zone? Summons your skyriding or steady flight mount. On the ground? Ground mount. Underwater? Water mount. Mounto detects your environment and picks the right category instantly.
- Multiple mounts per category. Assign a pool of mounts to each category and Mounto randomly picks one each time — no more riding the same mount forever.
- Modifier support. Hold SHIFT, CTRL, or ALT to summon from completely separate mount pools. That's up to 7 different mount setups on a single keybind.
- Per-character settings. Each character has their own mount assignments, druid forms, and class ability preferences saved independently.
🐻 Full Druid Form Support
Druids get special treatment. Per-category form selection with smart context awareness:
- Travel Form — Flies when you can fly, stag form on the ground, aquatic form in water.
- Travel + Cat (Hybrid) — The smart option. Travel Form when outdoors, automatically switches to Cat Form when you enter a building, dungeon, or anywhere Travel Form can't be used. One setting, never think about it again.
- Cat Form / Bear Form / Moonkin Form — Always uses the selected form, no questions asked.
- Set different forms per category — Travel Form for flying, Cat Form for ground, whatever you want.
- Works with all modifier keys too — SHIFT+mount can be a different form than your default.
🐺 Shaman Ghost Wolf
Shamans can set Ghost Wolf as their ground movement ability. When enabled, your mount key casts Ghost Wolf on the ground instead of summoning a mount — perfect for quick movement in battlegrounds, dungeons, and indoor areas.
🐉 Dracthyr Soar
Soar support for all Dracthyr characters — not just Evokers. Dracthyr Warriors, Shamans, Hunters, Mages, and Priests can all use Soar as their flying ability. Set it per-category just like Druid forms.
✨ Smart Features
| Copy Target's Mount | See someone on a cool mount? Target them and press your mount key — if you own that mount, you'll summon the same one. |
| Anti-Dismount | Prevents accidental dismount while flying. Never fall to your death because you fat-fingered your mount key. |
| Dismount if Mounted | Press mount key while mounted to dismount instead of trying to summon another mount. |
| Flight Style Toggle | Dedicated keybind to switch between Skyriding and Steady Flight without opening any menu. |
| Fallback Mounts | Set a backup mount for categories with class-restricted mounts. If your main mount can't be used on an alt, the fallback kicks in. |
| Class-Restricted Mount Detection | Mounts restricted to other classes are shown with a red tint and marked so you know exactly which mounts work on your current character. |
| Under Level 10 Support | Low-level characters automatically use the Chauffeured Chopper. |
📊 Mount Statistics
Mounto tracks your riding habits with detailed stats:
- Per-mount tracking — Times summoned, time spent riding, distance traveled for every mount you use.
- Session & all-time stats — See your current session and lifetime totals.
- Distance in KM or Miles — Toggle between metric and imperial.
- Live stats panel — Optional floating panel that updates in real-time while you ride.
- Druid form tracking — Travel Form, Cat Form, and other shapeshift forms are tracked separately.
- Most used mounts — See which mounts you actually ride the most.
🎨 Clean Modern UI
Mounto's interface is built from scratch — no default Blizzard frames. A dark, modern design with:
- Card-based category layout — Each mount category (Flying, Skyriding, Ground, Water, Modifiers) is a clean card with color-coded accent bars.
- Visual mount browser — Browse and search your collection with mount icons and previews.
- Mount preview — See a 3D preview of any mount before assigning it.
- Quick assign — Select a mount, click "Set" on any category. Done.
- Icon-only mode — Compact mount list showing just icons for faster browsing.
⌨️ Keybinds
Three bindable actions (set them in WoW's Key Bindings → Addons → Mounto):
- Summon Mount — The main keybind. Does everything.
- Toggle UI — Open/close the Mounto configuration panel.
- Toggle Flight Style — Switch between Skyriding and Steady Flight instantly.
Or use the slash commands: /mounto to open the UI, /mounto config for settings.
⚡ Quick Start
- Install Mounto and
/reload - Type
/mountoor bind "Toggle UI" in Key Bindings → Addons → Mounto - Browse your mounts in the left panel, click one to select it
- Click "Set" on any category card (Skyriding, Ground, Water, etc.) to assign it
- Bind "Summon Mount" to your preferred key
- Done — one key handles everything
Druids: Click the "Druid" button on any category card to choose between Travel Form, Travel + Cat (Hybrid), Cat Form, Bear Form, or Moonkin Form.
Shamans: Click "Ghost Wolf" on Ground category to enable Ghost Wolf instead of mounting.
Dracthyr: Click "Soar" on flying categories to use Soar instead of mounts.
