🛠️ MopSkillDamage – Skill Damage Display Addon for MoP Classic

MopSkillDamage is a lightweight and intuitive addon for World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria Classic (version 5.5.1) that enhances your action bar by displaying the actual damage dealt by your abilities directly on their buttons.

🔍 What It Does

  • 📌 Displays real damage numbers on each ability button after you use the skill.

  • 🧠 Remembers the last damage value for each spell and shows it persistently until updated.

  • 🧪 Supports macros: if a button casts a spell via macro, the damage will still be tracked and displayed.

  • 🔄 Auto-updates when gear changes, ensuring damage values reflect your current stats.

  • 🎨 Fully compatible with ElvUI 14.01 and other custom action bar addons (via universal button scanning).

  • 💾 Saves damage values between sessions, so you don’t lose your data when you log out.

⚙️ How It Works

  • When you use a spell that deals damage, the addon listens to the combat log and captures the amount dealt.

  • That damage value is saved and displayed as a small number at the bottom of the corresponding action button.

  • If you haven’t used a spell yet, no number is shown — the addon avoids cluttering your UI with placeholders or question marks.

  • The addon scans all visible action buttons, including those created by ElvUI, Bartender, or other UI mods.

  • It also detects macros and extracts the actual spell being cast to track its damage.

📦 Installation

  1. Download and unzip the addon.

  2. Place the MopSkillDamage folder into your Interface/AddOns directory.

  3. Enable the addon in your character's AddOns menu.

  4. Log in and start using your abilities — damage numbers will appear automatically.
