ClassPetWatcher is a lightweight, zero‑configuration addon that alerts you when your class pet is missing, set to Passive, or (for Demonology Warlocks) the wrong demon is summoned. It’s designed for players who want a clean, animated reminder without cluttering their UI.

 

What It Does

  • Pet Missing Alerts

    • Hunter – warns when no pet is active

    • Warlock – warns when no demon is summoned

    • Unholy Death Knight – warns when your ghoul is missing

    • Frost Mage – warns when your Water Elemental is missing

  • Passive Mode Warning Shows your pet family name + “is set to PASSIVE!” when your pet is accidentally left in Passive mode.

  • Demonology Warlock Special Logic If you have Felguard (30146) but summon a different demon, the addon displays: “WRONG PET SUMM FELGUARD”

  • Smart Mount Handling

    • Hides while mounted, on taxi, in a vehicle, or when dead/ghost

    • Adds a 5‑second delay after dismount before checking your pet again

  • Animated Warning Text The alert text performs a looping bounce/jump animation while visible.

  • Movable Frame Hold SHIFT and drag to reposition. Use /petlock to lock/unlock the frame.
