Keystone Monitor
A lightweight, highly customizable dungeon tracker for World of Warcraft with Mythic+ timers, pace hints, best-time comparisons, boss splits, death tracking, and full run history.
Keystone Monitor is designed to give you the information you actually need during a dungeon without filling your screen with unnecessary clutter.
It supports every 5-player dungeon mode in World of Warcraft:
-
Follower
-
Normal
-
Heroic
-
Timewalking
-
Mythic 0
-
Mythic+
Whether you're pushing high keys, chasing personal bests, speedrunning lower difficulties, or simply want better visibility during your dungeon runs, Keystone Monitor provides a clean, customizable tracker that stays out of your way.
Mythic+ Tracking
Full Mythic+ Timer
Track your current run with a clear timer and all three Mythic+ chest breakpoints:
-
+3
-
+2
-
+1
-
Overtime
The timer accounts for death penalties and correctly handles Challenger's Peril when active.
Pace Hints
A live pace indicator shows which reward tier your current run is tracking toward.
-
PACE: +3 -
PACE: +2 -
PACE: +1 -
PACE: Overtime
Pace calculations account for your elapsed time and applicable death penalties so you can immediately see how your run is progressing.
Best-Time Comparison
Compare your current run against your best recorded performance.
Keystone Monitor pulls your best timed run for the current dungeon from Blizzard's Mythic+ run history and provides a live comparison showing whether you're ahead or behind your previous performance.
Boss Splits
Every boss kill is recorded with its kill time.
During future runs, Keystone Monitor compares each boss kill against your best recorded run and displays a split delta:
-
Green — ahead of your best
-
Red — behind your best
This gives you a quick way to identify where you're gaining or losing time throughout a run.
Enemy Forces
Track enemy forces with an exact count and percentage.
Once you reach 100%, the forces objective is marked complete and records the time you reached full completion.
Deaths & Time Penalties
Track deaths during Mythic+ runs and see the associated time penalty.
The tracker uses the game's official Mythic+ death count rather than attempting to estimate deaths through combat log scanning.
Affix Tracking
Active Mythic+ affixes are displayed directly on the tracker.
Hover over an affix to see its tooltip.
Outside of an active key, Keystone Monitor can also display the current weekly affixes.
Automatic Keystone Insertion
Open the Font of Power and Keystone Monitor can automatically insert your keystone from your bags.
This feature can be disabled through the /km settings.
Dungeon Tracking
Keystone Monitor isn't limited to Mythic+.
It tracks Follower, Normal, Heroic, Timewalking, and Mythic 0 dungeons with dedicated tracking for each mode.
Automatic Boss Detection
When entering a non-Mythic+ dungeon, Keystone Monitor detects the dungeon's boss roster through the Encounter Journal.
You can see the full boss list before you've even pulled the first boss.
Boss Progress
Bosses update automatically as your run progresses:
-
[ ]— Pending -
[Engaged]— Currently engaged -
[Done]— Defeated
Defeated bosses also display their kill time.
A boss progress bar shows your overall progress:
Bosses 2 / 4
Dungeon Completion
When the final boss dies, Keystone Monitor automatically detects the completion and records the total clear time.
The run is marked as:
COMPLETE
Personal Bests
Personal best clear times are saved separately for each dungeon and difficulty.
This means your best Heroic time, for example, won't overwrite your best Timewalking or Mythic 0 time.
Boss splits are also tracked for these dungeon modes, allowing you to compare future runs against your previous best.
Death Tracking
Keystone Monitor tracks deaths across every supported dungeon mode.
For dungeon modes that don't provide a built-in death counter, Keystone Monitor tracks party deaths independently.
Death Log
Hover over the Deaths counter to see a detailed death log for the current run.
The death log includes:
-
Player name
-
When they died
-
Class-colored names for easy identification
This works across Mythic+ and all other supported dungeon modes.
Run History
Keystone Monitor includes a full Run History system directly inside the /km window.
The history system contains three different views.
Runs
Review your most recent dungeon runs across all supported modes.
The Runs tab includes:
-
Last 100 recorded runs
-
Total run count
-
Timed rate
-
Best timed key
-
Average deaths
-
All / Mythic+ / Dungeons filters
-
Key levels colored by tier
-
Timed / Depleted / Cleared results
-
Dungeon difficulty
-
Completion time
-
Death count
-
Detailed per-run tooltips
You can also access Run History using the watch button on the tracker.
Best Timed
Best Timed shows your best Mythic+ performance for every dungeon.
It displays:
-
Highest key level you've successfully timed
-
Your best time at that level
-
Every dungeon in the current season's pool
Best Timed is built from your full Blizzard Mythic+ run history, not simply the runs Keystone Monitor has recorded.
This means dungeons can appear even if you haven't run them while Keystone Monitor was installed.
Highest Key
Highest Key shows the highest Mythic+ level you've completed for each dungeon, regardless of whether you timed it.
Each result is clearly marked:
-
TIMED -
OVER TIME
Like Best Timed, this uses your full Blizzard Mythic+ run history and covers the entire current seasonal dungeon pool.
Run Protection
Keystone Monitor is designed to prevent your run data from disappearing when something unexpected happens.
An active dungeon run can survive:
-
/reload -
Disconnects
-
Briefly leaving the dungeon instance
Your:
-
Timer
-
Boss kills
-
Deaths
-
Run progress
are restored automatically when possible.
If you need to discard the saved run snapshot manually:
/km resetrun
Objective Tracker Integration
Keystone Monitor can replace Blizzard's default objective tracker while you're actively running a dungeon.
This keeps your dungeon objectives, bosses, forces, timer, and other relevant information together in one clean panel.
Once your run ends, the normal Blizzard tracker is restored.
Group Finder Features
Keystone Monitor can automatically notify you when your Group Finder party fills.
When a listed group reaches 5 players, a local chat message is displayed with the dungeon and keystone.
Example:
Keystone Monitor: Group Filled For +15 Operation: Mechagon
The addon intelligently handles both situations:
-
If you created the listing, it uses your held keystone.
-
If you joined someone else's listing, it uses that listing's dungeon and comment information instead of your own key.
The notification re-arms if the group drops below 5 players and later fills again.
Party Chat Broadcast
You can optionally broadcast the Group Finder fill notification to party or raid chat so everyone in the group sees it.
This is disabled by default.
Dungeon Completion Announcements
Keystone Monitor can also announce dungeon completion in party or raid chat.
For Mythic+:
Keystone Monitor: Dungeon Timed in 24:15 - 2 deaths
or:
Keystone Monitor: Dungeon Not Timed in 32:40 - 5 deaths
For other dungeon modes:
Keystone Monitor: Dungeon Completed in 18:02 - 1 death
All of these announcement features can be individually disabled through /km.
UI Studio
Keystone Monitor includes a full in-game UI Studio accessible through:
/km
Almost every aspect of the tracker can be customized.

Lightweight & Performance Focused
Keystone Monitor is built to stay out of the way.
The addon avoids unnecessary updates and processing wherever possible.
-
Timer text only updates when the displayed second changes.
-
Objective data only refreshes when something actually changes.
-
Death tracking is event-driven rather than constantly polling.
-
No combat log scanning is required for death tracking.
-
Affix and tooltip data is cached.
-
Text elements avoid redundant updates.
-
High-frequency events are only registered while a dungeon run is active.
-
The Run History interface reuses its row frames and only refreshes while visible.
-
Progress bar animation only runs while the bar is actively moving.
The result is a tracker designed to provide a lot of information while keeping its performance footprint extremely small.
