🌙 What is Midnight Routine?

Midnight Routine is a lightweight, auto-tracking weekly checklist for World of Warcraft: Midnight. It watches your quest log, profession casts, currency totals, and activity events in real time so you always know exactly what you've done this week — and what's still left to do (This is a beta, some things might not work right away — let me know).

🩸 Prey System

The Prey System is Midnight's open-world hunting activity where you track down and defeat powerful targets each week. Midnight Routine tracks both your progress toward the weekly cache and your total Remnants of Anguish currency.

• Weekly Prey (4/4) — automatically tracked via quest completion as you defeat Prey targets across the world. Completing 4 earns the weekly cache reward
• Remnants of Anguish — your current currency total, updated live whenever you earn more. Used for Prey-related rewards and exchanges

💀 Midnight Rares

Midnight is home to powerful rare elites that spawn across the open world, each dropping valuable loot, currencies, and collectibles. Midnight Routine tracks your kills automatically so you never lose track of which rares you've already tagged this week.

• Weekly Rare kills — automatically detected when you defeat a tracked Midnight rare, no manual checking required
• Per-rare status — see at a glance which rares are done and which are still up for the week
• Auto-reset — all rare tracking clears on weekly reset alongside everything else

⚗️ Profession Knowledge Points

Every profession has its own tracking for every weekly KP source — and only your professions are shown. No clutter from professions you don't have.

• Weekly Notebooks / Journals / Folios — tracked automatically when you complete them
• Weekly Drops — tracks your weekly material drop tasks per profession
• Treatises — auto-detected when you use a Thalassian Treatise item
• Darkmoon Faire — tracks your monthly profession DMF quest
• Knowledge Point Items — all KP items and all Knowledge Point locations are supported
• Catch-Up Knowledge — catch-up KP sources are tracked separately so you always know how many bonus points you've collected this week on top of your regular cap

Not everything fits neatly into a category — so you can build your own. The custom task module lets you add any personal reminder or goal directly into the panel alongside your auto-tracked activities.

• Manual check-off — tap a task to mark it done, just like the rest of the panel

👥 Alt Tracking

Running multiple characters? Midnight Routine keeps a full weekly snapshot for every alt on your account so you never have to log in just to remember what you've already done.

• Per-character snapshots — each character's weekly progress is saved automatically whenever you log in on them, covering Great Vault, Crests, Delves, Prey, Rares, KP, and more
• Account-wide overview — open the alt panel to see every tracked character's weekly status at a glance without switching characters
• Automatic population — no setup required, characters are added to the list the first time you log in on them with the addon loaded
• Reset-aware — alt data clears alongside your main on weekly reset, so the overview is always showing current week progress
• Profession-aware — each alt only shows KP modules for the professions that character actually has

✨ How It Works

• Auto-tracking — quest completions, KP spell casts, currency changes, vault events, Prey kills, and Midnight rare kills are all detected automatically as you play
• Auto-reset — everything wipes clean on weekly reset, no manual clearing needed
• Profession filtering — profession modules only appear if your character actually has that profession
• Draggable panel — move it anywhere on your screen and lock it in place
• Module reordering — drag modules into whatever order suits your workflow
• Collapse completed — finished rows shrink to a thin line so only what's left stands out, with a tooltip showing what was done
• Per-module collapse control — override the global collapse setting per module from the config panel
• Transparent mode — clean frameless look if you want it to blend into your UI
• Minimap button — left-click to open, right-click for options
