Description

LootPlus is a lightweight World of Warcraft addon that takes the grunt work out of looting and repairs, so you can focus on the game instead of the grind.

Core Features

  • Auto-Loot by Rarity
    Automatically picks up items at or above your chosen rarity (default: Uncommon/green and above), skipping poor (grey) and common (white) junk.

  • Auto-Sell & Exemptions GUI
    Manage both your “always loot” exemptions and your “always sell” lists right in the in-game Settings panel—no manual saved-variable edits required.

  • Gold & Currency Collection
    Grabs all coins and currency tokens the moment you loot them.

  • Auto-Repair
    Repairs your gear at vendors according to your preference (Guild / Personal / Off).

  • Hide or Show the Loot Window
    Choose whether the default loot frame appears or stays hidden for true “set it and forget it” automation.

  • Debug Mode
    Toggle verbose debug output on or off to see exactly what LootPlus is doing, logged directly to your chat window.

  • Bag-Item Context Menu
    Hold your chosen modifier key (e.g. Alt) and hover over any bag item to quickly add or remove it from your loot-or-sell lists via a handy 2-button menu.

  • Minimap Icon
    Click the LootPlus launcher on your minimap for one-click access to all settings.

Settings
All options live under Escape → Settings → AddOns → LootPlus and include:

  • Enable Auto-Loot

  • Show Loot Window

  • Rarity Threshold (Common/White, Uncommon/Green, Rare/Blue, Epic/Purple)

  • Enable Debug Mode

  • Exemption List (GUI for adding/removing specific items to always loot)

  • Auto-Sell List (GUI for items to always sell at merchants)

  • Bag-Menu Modifier Key (Left/Right Alt, Ctrl, Shift)

  • Repair Mode (Guild / Personal / Off)

  • Toggle Minimap Icon

How It Works

  1. LOOT_OPENED fires → LootPlus loops every loot slot:

    • Grabs money/currency automatically.

    • Checks item rarity against your threshold.

    • Auto-loots exemptions first.

    • Hides or shows the loot frame per your setting.

  2. MERCHANT_SHOW fires → Auto-sells anything in your Auto-Sell list.

  3. MERCHANT_SHOW also triggers Auto-Repair based on your Repair Mode.

  4. Bag hover + modifier → Pop up a tiny menu to add/remove that item from Exemptions or Auto-Sell.

  5. Minimap icon → Left-click to open the LootPlus Settings panel instantly.

Data Storage
Everything—your rarity choice, exemptions, auto-sell items, repair mode, modifier key, window visibility, debug flag and minimap settings—is saved in LootPlusDB and persists across reloads, logouts, and client restarts.

Known Limitations

  • Manual List Management
    You must add or remove items via the Settings panel or the bag-item context menu—drag-and-drop support isn’t available yet.

  • Basic Filtering Only
    Search in the Exemptions and Auto-Sell panels is limited to simple text matching; more advanced filters are on the roadmap.

  • No Bulk Import/Export
    You can’t yet import or export your item lists in bulk—look for that in an upcoming release.
