LoreCompanion is a lore encyclopedia that brings Warcraft's rich backstory directly into your gameplay. Target an NPC, enter a new zone, or encounter a creature type — and a lore popup appears with lore-accurate storytelling.

Features

📜 Automatic Lore Popups

• NPC Lore: Target any of 651 NPCs across Azeroth and Outland and get their backstory — from Thrall's journey to freedom to Edwin VanCleef's bitter vendetta.
• Zone Lore: Enter a new zone and learn its history. Why is Duskwood shrouded in darkness? What happened at Stratholme?
• Creature Types: First time fighting a Dragonkin or an Elemental? Learn what they are and where they come from.
• Smart Tracking: Each entry only shows once per character. Use /lore unseen <name> to re-trigger any entry.

🗺️ World Map Lore Pins

• Violet book markers on the world map show NPCs with lore entries in each zone.
• Hover a pin to see the NPC's name — discover their lore by visiting them in-game!
• Configurable pin size (Small, Normal, Large) and toggle in Settings.

💬 Share & History

• Share button — click the speech bubble icon to share a lore excerpt in /say chat.
• Back/Forward navigation — browse through your last viewed lore entries with arrow buttons.

🏆 Achievement-Style Glossary Window

• Browse 119 glossary entries organized into 16 categories across 4 groups: Dark Forces, Peoples & Factions, Dragons & Nature, Wars & Places
• Achievement panel styling with progress bars, seen/unseen tracking, and favorite stars
• Cross-linked entries: Glossary terms in lore text are highlighted in cyan — click them to jump directly to that entry
• Track your lore discovery progress with an overall completion bar

🔍 Lore Browser

• Browse all zones, dungeons, raids, and battlegrounds from a structured menu
• Full-text search across all lore entries with /lore search <query>
• Recent & Favorites system to quickly find entries you care about

• Minimap button with left-click (show last lore), right-click (open browser), middle-click (toggle book icon), and shift+right-click (settings)
