LFG ChatFilter

A lightweight World of Warcraft: Classic add-on that keeps your chat clean and focused — showing only the LFG/LFM messages you actually want to see.

✨ Features

  • Filters out chat clutter — only see messages containing:
    LFG, LFM, LF1M, LF2M, LF Healer, LF Tank, LF DPS, etc.

  • Works in Trade, General, and LookingForGroup channels.

  • Custom minimap button for quick control:

    • 🔹 Left-click to toggle filtering.

    • 🔹 Right-click for dropdown options.

    • 🔹 Drag to reposition.

  • Dropdown menu includes:

    • Channel toggles

    • Pattern toggles (choose which LF terms trigger the filter)

    • Minimap visibility & reset controls

  • Lightweight, no libraries, built purely with Blizzard’s native UI API.

📦 Installation

  1. Download the ZIP file.

  2. Extract to:

     
    World of Warcraft/_classic_/Interface/AddOns/

  3. You should see:

     
    Interface/AddOns/LFGChatFilter/ LFGChatFilter.lua LFGChatFilter.toc icon4.tga

  4. Restart the game or use /reload.
