Ledger is a complete replacement for World of Warcraft's default bag and bank interface, reimagining inventory management as a clean, scrollable list instead of the traditional icon grid. Each item is displayed as a row showing its icon, name, stack count, and item level (if toggled)—making it effortless to scan your inventory at a glance. Ledger seamlessly integrates with your existing keybinds: pressing your bag key opens the Ledger window, and interacting with a banker opens the Vault window for your Personal Bank and Warband Bank. The modern, minimalist design keeps your screen uncluttered while giving you powerful organizational tools that the default UI simply doesn't offer.
Organizing your items is intuitive and flexible. Ledger automatically sorts items into smart categories like Equipment, Reagents, Consumables, and Junk based on item type, but the real power comes from customization. Enter Edit Mode using the paper icon button in the top-right corner of the header, then click the "+" button to create your own custom categories—you can choose whether each category applies to your Bags, Personal Bank, Warband Bank, or any combination. While in Edit Mode, use the arrow buttons on category headers to reorder them, or use the arrows on individual items to move them between categories. Click any category header to collapse or expand it, keeping your view focused on what matters. Items you've recently looted appear in a special "Recent Items" section at the top for 5 minutes, and you can clear them early using the Clear button in the footer.
Finding items is fast with Ledger's smart search bar. Type any text to filter by item name, type, or keyword—but the real magic is hashtag searching. Use quality tags like #epic, #rare, or #legendary to filter by rarity; slot tags like #helm, #chest, or #trinket to find equipment for specific slots; weapon tags like #2h, #shield, or #offhand; and even expansion tags like #df, #tww, or #legion to find items from specific expansions. Combine multiple filters with spaces—searching #epic #chest shows only epic chest pieces, while #leather #legs finds all leather leg armor. Hover over the search box for a complete reference guide.
The Vault window lets you browse your Personal Bank and Warband Bank from anywhere in the world—perfect for checking what materials you have before heading to a crafting station. While away from a banker the view is read-only, but full functionality returns when you visit any bank NPC. Equipment items show upgrade indicators with a glowing border when they're better than what you're wearing, and holding Shift while hovering displays a detailed stat comparison tooltip. Items work exactly as you'd expect: click to pick them up, drag them to trade windows, mailboxes, the auction house, scrapping machines, or anywhere else you'd normally drag inventory items.
Ledger offers extensive personalization through its settings panel (accessible via the gear icon or the standard AddOns options). Choose from over 30 color themes including Dark Mode, faction themes (Alliance Blue, Horde Red), rainbow colors, all 13 class colors, and 15 in-game holiday themes. Display options include Compact Mode for a narrower and shorter window, Larger Text for improved readability, and toggles for showing item levels on icons, upgrade glow effects, and openable item highlights. Each character starts with their own profile, but you can create custom profiles that are accessible across all your characters—perfect for sharing your preferred setup between alts.
