Klotis Guild Companion
The raid toolkit for WoW Forever: loot priority and master loot, comps and raid roles, boss tactics and guild crafting, all synced from the guild website.
What's new
- Flight chess (owner's request, after FojjiCore's flight-master chess; written from scratch). When a flight starts (
PLAYER_CONTROL_LOST, thenUnitOnTaxi), a bar asks "On a flight: play chess?" with Play, Not on flights and close./kp chessopens the window any time.- Opponents: the Training Dummy (looks two moves ahead with some randomness, no clock), or anyone online in your guild, party or raid running KlotisPlanner, picked from an Online list or typed. Clock: none, 5, 10 or 15 minutes each. Colour: white, random or black.
- Challenges arrive as a popup with Accept / Decline (60 s, then declined). Already playing, or "Accept chess challenges" off: the challenger is told.
- Rules (
ChessRules.lua, pure Lua): legal moves only, check, checkmate, stalemate, castling, en passant, promotion (a picker over the board), 50-move rule, threefold repetition, not enough material. Checked against the standard perft counts inaddon/test/ChessRulesSmoke.lua. - Board: click a piece, then a square; legal targets show as dots (rings for captures), the last move and the selection are highlighted, your colour is at the bottom. Offer draw / Accept draw, Resign (click twice), then Back or Rematch (colours swapped).
- Clocks: each side counts its own time and sends what's left with every move. Out of time loses, or draws when the other side can't mate. If the opponent's clock passes zero and nothing arrives for 5 s, you win.
- Leaving: a
/reloador logout ends a game against a player with no result (the board isn't saved), and the opponent is told. - Record: won, drawn and lost per opponent, in
KlotisPlannerDB.chess.record. - Settings → Windows: Offer chess on flights, Accept chess challenges.
- Pieces: the cburnett set by Colin M.L. Burnett (BSD licence;
assets/chess-pieces, built intoMedia/ChessPieces.tgabynpx tsx scripts/make-chess-pieces.ts).
- Preview: Take a flight / land toggles
UnitOnTaxi; the headless check plays a Training Dummy game and fool's mate between two clients.
