Kerzo's Classic Quest Log

A lightweight addon that replaces the modern quest log with a classic two-panel layout: quest list on the left, full details on the right — just like the old days, but built for Retail.

This addon is inspired by Classic Quest Log by gello3.

Features

World Quest Support (experimental)

• World Quest detail panel with objectives, rewards and map coordinates
• Filter world quests by expansion in settings
• Time-left indicator with red highlight when under 10 minutes
• World Quest icon in the quest list
• "Show Map" button works with World Quests

Alter characters quest tracking

• Display information on other characters when a mission has been completed.
• Track alters questing.

Classic Layout

• Split-panel interface: browsable quest list on the left, detailed quest info on the right
• Collapsible headers by zone/type with expand/collapse all
• Resizable and draggable window with position memory
• Lock position (hold Shift to move when locked)
• Adjustable scale from 50% to 200%
• High contrast mode for accessibility
• Responds to ESC key like any standard Blizzard frame

Quest Details

• Full quest description, objectives with progress tracking, and lore text
• Complete reward display: items, gold, XP, currencies, spells, honor, titles, reputation, followers, skill points, War Mode bonus, and Party Sync bonus
• Shift+click to preview reward items (Dress Up)
• Inline quest giver portrait or native 3D portrait window
• Timed quest support with countdown timer
• Group size suggestions
• Campaign seal and themed backgrounds

Quest Management

• Quick search bar with live filtering by quest name
• Hide quests you don't want to see (per-character, right-click menu)
• Recent quest history — quick access to the last 12 quests you viewed
• Right-click menu: copy Wowhead URL, copy quest name, hide/unhide quests
• Quest count display (X/35)
• Track/untrack, abandon, and share quest buttons

Campaign Tracking

• Dedicated campaign panel with full lore text
• Chapter-by-chapter progress tracking with percentages
• Themed header textures per campaign

Party Sync Support

• Start/stop Quest Session from the top bar

Smart Overrides

• Override the default Quest Log keybind to open this addon instead
