Like the default damage meter? Don't like that stuffy black streak over it? Or maybe you don't like the bar texture or font? Then Jamage Meter, a lightweight reskin of the default damage meter, might be what you're looking for.
For settings you can find them using the following /jamage commands or hitting escape, going to Options, accessing the Addons tab, and expanding Jamage Meter.
- /jamage meter for settings to fade the background, reset after combat, change the background texture, and whether you want the damage meter on for all your characters.
- /jamage entry to change bar texture, name font, and damage font.
- /jamage header to set window title font, whether it fades in on mouseover, and header alpha.
- /jamage timer to set timer font.
