Description

Development of this addon has been abandoned as I have quit World of Warcraft. If anyone is using it and is interested in taking over email me.

IMBA (Idiotproof Multiple Buffs Alert)

If something isn't working, force the default settings with '/imba defaults'. If that doesn't work then there is an important error. Please report that error by enabling LUA errors on WoW interface options and posting it either on the comments or by email (neotms@gmail.com) so that I can fix it as soon as possible. Also, I appreciate any feedback, so please go ahead and comment.

Description

Idiotproof Multiple Buffs Alert makes sure you know when you have a buff active on you. Aimed for short-term buffs like trinkets, cooldowns, Time Warp/Heroism/Bloodlust etc. The idea is to be instantly notified with a very obvious way that you gained or lost a certain buff which you may otherwise have failed to notice under the stress of PvE/PvP action. Once you are certain you have a specific buff you can change your playstyle accordingly. If that buff is Heroism or a cooldown for example, you might want to make small alterations to your rotation.

The following refer to the latest release version of the addon (v1.1.8). However, a more recent beta version might be ready for download.

Features

  • List of buffs to watch. The order on the list determines the buff's priority. Buffs higher on the list cover these lower.
  • Fullscreen tint of any colour (RGBA values as input) with a transparency option when a buff from the watch list becomes active.
  • Fully customize your buff watch list.
  • Enough slash command options to satisfy everyone.
  • No localization at the moment. Default settings are for the english version of the game.

Use

Type /imba to get a list of commands. Type /imba more, if the starter commands are not enough. Using these commands you can add buffs to your watch list and the screen will change colour when you have them. You can also set the colour. If you still don't get it check out the Help page.

Default Settings

Default settings for buffs are the "Editor's Choice" on how buffs should be set. Check out the Defaults page.
