IdentityTag is a WoW identity addon. Customise your nickname, raid icon, and chat color. Use the P2P mode to identify your character with other players who have the addon, without cluttering the chat for non-users.
Public Mode: Automatically injects your tag at the beginning of your messages for maximum visibility.
Private Mode (P2P): Discreetly synchronizes your identity with other users (including the /say channel) for a stylish display without cluttering the chat for non-users.
In-game, type the slash command /idtag in your chat to instantly open the configuration windowundefined.
/!\ There are limitations due to World of Warcraft interface restrictions:
Social Interface: The addon cannot function, nor display tags, inside the official "Guild & Communities" window. Blizzard prohibits any external modification of text within this specific frame.
Community Channels: On these channels, your tag will always be displayed in public mode, even if you have selected private mode, since the invisible synchronization mode (P2P) is throttled by Blizzard on community channels. To ensure your identity is transmitted, the addon must "force" the writing of your tag directly into the text message, making it visible to all players if you so choose.

IdentityTag est un addon d'identité pour WoW. Personnalisez votre pseudo, icône de raid et couleur de chat. Utilisez le mode P2P pour identifier votre personnage auprès des autres utilisateurs sans polluer le chat des joueurs non équipés.
Mode Public : Injecte automatiquement votre tag au début de vos messages pour une visibilité totale.
Mode Privé (P2P) : Synchronise discrètement votre identité avec les autres utilisateurs (incluant le canal /dire) pour un affichage coloré sans polluer le chat des autres joueurs.

/!\ Il y a des limitations suite aux restrictions de l'interface de World of Warcraft :
Interface Sociale : L'addon ne peut pas fonctionner, ni afficher de tags, à l'intérieur de la fenêtre officielle "Guilde et communautés". Blizzard interdit toute modification externe des textes dans ce cadre spécifique.
Canaux de Communautés : Sur ces canaux, votre tag s'affichera systématiquement en mode public, même si vous avez sélectionné le mode privé puisque le mode de synchronisation invisible (P2P) est bridé par Blizzard sur les canaux de communautés. Pour garantir que votre identité soit transmise, l'addon doit "forcer" l'écriture de votre tag directement dans le message texte, le rendant ainsi visible par tous les joueurs si vous le souhaitez.
