Hunter Engage

Hunter Engage modifies how your character uses Disengage (Hunter) or Vengeful Retreat (Demon Hunter), temporarily rotating the camera to launch you forward instead of backward.

⚙️ How to Use

1. Set a Keybind
   Open the in-game Options > AddOns > Hunter Engage, then click "Set Keybind" and press your desired key (e.g. ALT+1).

2. Configure View 2
   The addon uses World of Warcraft's View 2 system to control camera rotation.
   You can set this up in two ways from the options panel:

   • Manual Setup: Move the camera to your preferred backward-facing angle and click "Save Current View as View 2".
   • Auto Setup: Click "Auto-Rotate 180° and Save as View 2" to automatically spin the camera and save the result.

3. Test It!
   Press your configured keybind to perform a forward jump using your escape spell.

⚠️ Known Limitations

• The addon cannot correctly restore the camera if you are holding both mouse buttons (left + right) while engaging.
  This is a technical limitation in how camera views and mouselook work in secure contexts and cannot be bypassed.
• Make sure your cameraViewBlendStyle is set to 2 (this addon sets it automatically).
