Does this addon check if Warcraft Recorder is running?

No.
World of Warcraft addons cannot detect external programs.
This addon is reminder-only by design.

When exactly does the reminder trigger?

• When you join a raid 
• Only if the raid difficulty is set to Mythic
• It will not trigger again from roster updates or players joining/leaving.

Will it spam every pull or ready check?

No.
It triggers once per raid join only.

Does it work outside the instance?

Yes.
The reminder triggers when joining the raid group, even before entering the raid instance.

Is this addon guild-specific?

No.
While developed for Mythic guild environments, it works for any player.
