HiddenRealms automatically removes server suffixes from player names across your UI to create a cleaner, more unified community experience.

Description

HiddenRealms is a lightweight interface utility designed to seamlessly strip realm names from World of Warcraft. In an era of cross-realm communities and connected realms, the constant visual clutter of server suffixes can make the world feel fragmented.

The goal of this addon is to restore the feeling of a single, bustling population. By removing the server distinction, it bridges the gap between low and high population realms, making every player you meet—whether in a dungeon, a guild, or trade chat—feel like a neighbor on your own home server.

Features

  • Chat Cleaning: Removes realm names from all chat channels, including Trade, General, and Party.
  • System Message Scrubbing: Cleans up login and logout notifications so you see "Player has come online" instead of "Player-Realm has come online."
  • Guild Roster Support: Intelligently hooks into the Guild & Communities list to display clean names for your guildmates.
  • Group Frames: Hides realm text on default Raid and Party frames to keep your UI minimal.
  • Nameplates: Options to hide realm text on nameplates in the open world.

Configuration Type /hr or /hiddenrealms to open the options panel and toggle specific features.
