Description
Hearthlink
Hearthlink helps solo players and close-knit World of Warcraft groups decide what tonight is for.
It turns character progress, saved preferences, live activity hints, gear usefulness, and party sync data into a practical Tonight's Plan: a short list of useful things to do now, things that are better solo, and things that make more sense with friends.
Current Version
Current alpha version: 0.1.4
What It Does
Hearthlink is not meant to be a strict checklist or optimization tool. It is a friendly planning addon that helps answer questions like:
- What is worth doing tonight?
- What fits a short session?
- What should I do solo?
- What is better with this group?
- Which weekly or gear-related tasks still look useful?
- What should I save for later?
Current Alpha Features
- Tonight's Plan view for scan-friendly recommendations.
- Session intent dropdown with Auto, Weeklies, Quick Wins, Chill Solo, Gear Progress, Group Night, Professions, and Catch-Up.
- Weighted recommendation scoring so the selected intent strongly affects what rises to the top without hiding everything else.
- Solo and group-aware suggestions that shift when Hearthlink detects a party.
- Activity tracking for campaign progress, Delves, Great Vault, Midnight weeklies, Prey hunts, PvP weeklies, crests, and optional currencies.
- Lightweight profession planning tasks for profession weeklies, knowledge points, farming, and check-ins.
- Gear usefulness scoring by equipped item level and reward category.
- Mythic+ score and Delver's Journey progress as recommendation factors where available.
- Cached alt status when characters have logged in with the addon.
- Status, preferences, character, squad, about, and optional debug views.
- Party sync with privacy options for shared character data.
- Hearthlink addon icon and micro-menu button integration.

Alpha Notice
Hearthlink is currently in small-group alpha testing. Some task detection, reward values, and scoring rules may change as the addon is tested against real weekly play patterns.
Feedback is especially useful around:
- Suggestions that feel too high or too low
- Activities that are missing or incorrectly detected
- Party recommendations that do not match what the group actually wants
- Gear or crest usefulness that feels wrong
- Intent choices that do not reorder Tonight's Plan in a helpful way
Scope Notes
Hearthlink is focused on practical session planning. It is not currently trying to become a full collection tracker, route planner, guild management tool, or optimization simulator.
Mount and transmog collection planning may be better as a separate module or addon because it needs source tracking, routes, lockouts, drop data, and character eligibility rules.
Privacy
Hearthlink is designed for coordination with trusted party members. Sync can be disabled, and privacy options are available to limit shared character details.
Slash Commands
/hearthlink
/hlink
Both commands toggle the main Hearthlink window.
