GODMODE GTFO is a lightweight personal hazard and combat-awareness addon for WoW Classic Era, TBC Classic Anniversary, and Midnight.

It helps you react faster to dangerous mechanics with clear visual alerts, screen announcements, timers, and warning sounds when you are standing in harmful effects, affected by dangerous abilities, or involved in friendly-fire mechanics.

The goal is simple: give you the important warning immediately, without requiring a large boss-mod package or complicated setup.

Some information available to addons during combat is intentionally restricted by Blizzard in Midnight. GODMODE GTFO uses the information Blizzard permits rather than attempting to bypass protected systems.

SCREEN ALERTS

Screen alerts are designed to be immediately visible without covering your entire interface.

The alert system can display:

• Spell/debuff name
• Debuff icon where available
• ON YOU warning
• Remaining duration
• Loss-of-control warning

The alert position and scale can be adjusted from the GODMODE GTFO configuration menu.

PERFORMANCE

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

GODMODE GTFO is designed to remain lightweight during combat.

The Midnight implementation avoids continuous protected-aura scanning and unsafe protected-frame hooks. Aura-sound registrations are handled efficiently, and expensive work is kept away from normal combat processing wherever possible.

Classic Era and TBC use their appropriate native detection systems independently from the Midnight implementation.
