v9.1.3 - BG Queues Update Storm Fix

• Found and fixed the real source of the memory climb: on a busy queue, BG Queues was rebuilding its whole group and player list on every single update from the game, several times a second, even when nothing had actually changed. It now only rebuilds when the queue data itself changes, and update bursts get folded into one check a second instead of several.

v9.1.2 - Memory Leak Fixes

• Fixed several places that kept growing in memory the longer the addon ran: toast alerts, the BG Queues request-to-join tracking, join-request throttling, and the session whisper throttle. Long sessions should no longer see addon memory climb without ever coming back down.

v9.1.1 - Dropdown Fix

• Fixed the dropdown buttons in Options and Announcements (Main Community, Sort by) showing an empty box. They now show your current choice, and are wide enough for community names.

v9.1.0 - Groups, Announcements and a Guided Tour

Set up your raid faster

• Assign raid groups: give each linked player a group from 1 to 10 with one click, or press Auto groups. Everyone is told right away which group to join, and Announce posts the list to raid chat.
• Add raid: invite everyone in your party or raid to link. Players with Hated Premades get a prompt, and are linked as soon as they accept.

Announcements

• A new Announcements window in the hub. Choose when your queue activity is posted, where it goes (guild, officer, party, raid, Communities), and write your own wording with a live preview. The HG at the start stays.
• Raid Leader calls (Open queue, Leave queue, Approve entry) have their own channels and wording too.

Find Leaders

• Scan your Communities for owners, leaders and moderators, then Link to one as your Raid Leader or Save them for later.

Learn it as you go

• A step by step how-to guide with Show me buttons that open the right window and point an arrow at the real control. Find it from the ? in the hub, the minimap menu, or /hatedbg help.
• Tooltips across the hub, Coordinate and HG Count.

Options

• Everything from the old options panel now lives in the addon's own Options window, with a new Profiles tab. The Interface options entry simply opens it.

Group numbers, Add raid and Backup leaders need the other players on the same version.

v9.0.0 - The Redesign

Hated Premades has a new look, and it's built around the people who run big multi-group nights.

A new home base

• One compact hub opens everything: Coordinate, Countdown, Ready Check, Queue Control, Queue Status, HG Count, Guild PvP, BG Queues and Options. No more hunting for slash commands. The old big window is gone.
• Coordinate is simpler. Raid Leaders see their linked players and requests at a glance, and Linked Players get a clean panel to link, ping and save leaders.
• The minimap icon is now the Hated logo.

Alerts that are easy to see

• Toast alerts at the top of the screen for queue joins, pops, leaves, battleground entries, link requests, ready checks and countdowns. No sounds, and you choose which ones you want.
• New Queue Status window: who is queued, popped or in a battleground, live.

BG Queues, leveled up

• Click a queue to see every group and every player in it, right beside the window. Fifty groups stays easy to read.
• Groups with fewer than four players get a Join button. It asks the group leader through Hated Premades, and if they have auto invite on, you are invited. Otherwise you are told no auto invite is available.
• Turn on BG queue pop alerts and you get a toast when a queue pops, even with the window closed.

Backup Raid Leaders

• Star up to three of your linked players as backups. Backups get a panel that works like yours, so your groups keep going if you end up inside a battleground and can't use the addon there. Nobody has to relink, and separate raid leaders never affect each other's players.

HG Count, Guild PvP and BG Queues

• All three match the new look.
• HG Count's channel list shows your Community channels by name, hides General, Trade and the other system channels, and reminds you to add a Community to chat before you can post to it.

Options

• A new Options window with tabs for General, Alerts, Status, Windows, Extras and Advanced. The classic options are still one click away under Advanced.

Backup leaders and Join requests need everyone to be on 9.0.0.

v8.0.4 — Cleanup

• Removed two old, unused modules that had been disabled for a while and were still shipping as dead weight in the package.
• Trimmed some internal dev files that had no business being in the download.

v8.0.3 — Fixed repeated errors from BG Queue Counts / Guild PvP Activity

• Fixed a Lua error that could repeat rapidly while /hgq (BG Queue Counts) was running, caused by a Blizzard restriction on reading certain cross-player data.
• BG Queue Counts and Guild PvP Activity now both stand down completely while you're inside a dungeon, raid, battleground, or arena, instead of continuing to scan in the background.

v8.0.2 — Fixed BG-entry warning popup

• Fixed a "HatedEpics has been blocked from an action only available to the Blizzard UI" popup some players saw when entering a battleground. Blizzard has locked auto-promoting a Raid Leader behind an action addons can no longer perform at all — the addon now tells you who to promote instead of trying to do it for you.

A major reliability and polish pass across the whole addon. If you queue, link up with your Raid Leader, or run HG Count for callouts, this update's for you.

🔗 Linking & Coordination — way more reliable

• Auto-pass Raid Leader on BG entry now actually works. This was silently broken before — if you had it turned on, it just never fired. Fixed for good.
• Your link to your Raid Leader no longer drops on a UI reload. Reconnects itself automatically instead of leaving you disconnected until you manually re-pick your leader.
• Multi-queueing? Approving a second BG pop while you're still inside your first one now actually reaches you, instead of leaving your Enter Battle button stuck until Blizzard's own timer kicks you out of the queue.
• Raid Leaders now get a real heads-up (sound + chat line) the instant a linked player's queue pops — no more relying on a status row that quietly resets itself after 20 seconds.
• Tightened up who can act as your Raid Leader/linked players behind the scenes — blocked and removed players stay blocked and removed.

🖱️ Minimap Menu

• New: right-click the minimap icon → Extra Windows to open/close HG Count, BG Queue Counts, and Guild PvP Activity without typing a single slash command.

🎛️ HG Count — now fully customizable

• New: Edit Macros button. Change the label and text of every raid-marker button — or add your own — right from the HG Count window. No more digging through the addon's files to change a callout.
• Fixed the Channels list running off the bottom of the window with no way to scroll to the rest.
• Window position and channel picks now actually stick across a reload.

🪟 Windows that finally remember themselves

• BG Queue Counts (/hgq) and Guild PvP Activity (/hgpvp) now remember whether you had them on and where you put them, instead of resetting to off/centered every single login.
• All three now have a real on/off switch and "reset position" button in Options → Extras.

🏘️ Communities show up by name again

• Fixed community pickers (Post-to-Communities, Community Discovery, and HG Count's channel list) sometimes showing a raw ID or "Unknown Community" instead of the actual community name.
