Want Battle for Azeroth treasures? I have something for that.
A HandyNotes plugin to show the Legion treasure items on your map. (That means it requires HandyNotes, so go install it as well.)
This includes:
- Items found in one-off chests that're mysteriously glowing purple.
- Items dropped by rare mobs.
Important note: Every zone has its own type of randomly-appearing treasure chest. These are genuinely random -- they're not always up, and they can repeat. As such, I don't include any of them. Only one-off chests are in this addon.
Items that you've already collected and mobs you've already killed won't be displayed. This uses the "flag" quests that the game relies on to keep track of the items. Sometimes these glitch; generally if they do so, you also won't have gotten achievement-credit / the item, so you'll likely still be interested in the item.
You can right-click on any treasure node and hide it, if you just don't want to see that one. If you have TomTom installed, you can also add a waypoint for that node.
To edit the settings, visit the HandyNotes config panel, expand the "Plugins" section, and click on "Legion". You can then choose which treasures to show, and whether to show ones you've already found.
Want to help?
If you'd like to submit corrections, please go into the settings as mentioned above and turn on "show quest ids". Then let me know the quest id for the node you want to correct, which will now appear in its tooltip.
If you'd like to submit a new node, you have two options:
- Tell me where it is. I'll go find it eventually and track down the more obscure details I need to add it.
-
Gather these details yourself and send them to me:
- Zone and coordinates.
- What it gives you. This is mostly "a random gray, some order resources, and an artifact power item".
- The quest id associated with it. This is the tricky one. The easiest way to get it is to install QuestsChanged before you open the treasure, then open the treasure and check it to see what quest was triggered.
Still doesn't show any icons on argus or any of the broken isles.
When in Dalaran it puts treasure chests all over the map and mini map for the Pebble. Can you please add an option to hide just the pebble nodes as tit is super annoying with all them cluttering up the map and mini map, you can not see any thing else on the mini map with all those chests.
Thank you
CAN YOU PLEASE GIVE THIS ADD-ON A BUMP TO MAKE IT USABLE WITH THE CURRENT BFA UPDATE? MOST OF US HAVE TOONS THAT ARE STILL IN NEED OF THIS ADD-ON. THANKS.
Please correct the treasure for " Prayers of the Earth Mother" the location is 46.34, 21.61

I have found a bug, so far its only happend in Highmountain. When I am in Thundertotem or the Drogpar cave, the treasures do not show up correctly on the map, it overlays every treasure in the zone over the zoomed in map. I have searched the comments but noone else seems to have this problem, maybe another mod is interfering? if anyone could help Id be grateful as I like the look of the mod

Odd question here, but is there a way to remove the Argus zone stuff from this? I have HandyNotes_Argus by nefine installed which has all the Argus treasures, more details, etc... for those zones only and this one duplicates most of the bosses, but doesn't have the treasures, etc... so it's got an overlap. I toggle off this one when in Argus as a temporary solution, but if there's a way for me to easily remove the Argus stuff that would fix me all up.
**Edit: Nevermind, just removed all those things from the Rares & Treasures files.
Can we get an option to turn off Pebble on the mini-map in Dalaran? The addon is great for lots of things including finding those tiny pebbles, but once you've found them it's just annoying and mousing over your minimap for other things constantly shows pebble pop-ups along with blotting out other things you want to see.
I know you can edit the lua files to disable it, but an interface option would be better.
Thanks.

Yeah can we please get an option for this? Legion Dalaran is covered in little icons I have no use for.
This chest isn't listed.
Sorry I took the screenshot before opening it and opened it before I read what details you wanted. Oh well. It's not difficult to find.
My coordinates are on my mini map and at the top of the screen.
Stormheim: Greymane's Offense @ 57.18, 72.77
Here's the items I got from it.

Skreeg the Devourer drops Acid Belcher, Kaara the Pale does NOT drop Fel-Spotted Egg, fairly certain already reported that Houndmaster Kerrax is listed under Vile Fiend instead.
I download the mods and added to my wow. It saying missing dependency and would not load in wow map. can you please let me know what I need to fix your mod to work?
thank you
Could we have an option to disable the Argus items? There's a couple good argus-centric handy notes addons that I'd like to install but they overlap in an ugly way with this addon's functionality.
Ataxon in Mac'Aree drops Grasping Manifestation.
Legion Treasure Hoard (https://www.wowhead.com/object=277207/legion-treasure-hoard) behind fel lavafall, behind Worldsplitter Skuul's spawn point in Antoran Wastes, 49.14, 59.39

Esse addons ta dando erro de Dependência Ausente..anguem pode me ajudar??
Please add an option to turn all the Argus nodes off. There's other addons that do it much better and are already extremely polished.
My Legion Dalaran map is cluttered with icons for a lootable item called "Pebble" which has a quest ID #46952. Presently the only thing I seem to be able to do is reduce their size but this doesn't help me much when I'm outside of Dalaran being able to see other lootable items. Is there any other way to make those Pebbles go away (no fewer than 10 on my minimap at any given time when I'm in Legion Dalaran)?
