HandyCD is a manual-first cooldown tracker for World of Warcraft with optional auto-start helpers, PvP trinket support, and group sync - built as a clean alternative to automated trackers like OmniCD or Ability Team Tracker.

Description

HandyCD is a manual-first cooldown tracker for WoW Retail. Built for Arenas, Mythic+, and coordinated groups, it gives you reliable control over your team’s cooldowns without the clutter of fully automated trackers.

Important: Blizzard API Changes (No Auto-Sync in M+ / Arena)

Blizzard recently blocked addon communication inside instanced competitive content. As a result, auto-syncing cooldowns with your party no longer works in Arenas or Mythic+.

Syncing still works in:

  • Delves
  • Normal and Heroic dungeons
  • Open world content

The good news is that HandyCD was built for manual tracking from day one. When automated trackers stop working, manual clicks still do.

Great for:

  • Shot-callers in Mythic+ and PvP
  • Planning defensive rotations
  • Players who want a clean, minimalist UI

What Makes HandyCD Different?

100% Manual Control

You decide exactly what gets tracked and when.

  • Left-click a spell to start its cooldown timer
  • Right-click to reset it
  • Optional Manual Reset Only mode for full control

Build Your Own Layout

Keep your UI clean and intentional.

  • Snap directly to Blizzard party or raid frames
  • Use Free Mode to unlock the anchor and place it anywhere
  • Customize spacing and growth direction

Smart Helpers Where Allowed

Automation is available when useful, but never required.

  • Group Sync shares your manual clicks with teammates in Delves, Normal/Heroic dungeons, and the open world
  • Automatically track your own casts
  • Auto-detect Arena PvP trinkets

Built for Real Gameplay

  • Track cooldowns by class and spec
  • PvP Medallion support
  • Save different profiles for alts or roles
  • Test Mode lets you set up your UI without joining a group

HandyCD is for players who prefer clarity over clutter and control over automation.
