CombatTracker (TBC Classic)
CombatTracker is a lightweight combat-awareness addon for WoW TBC Classic designed to help tanks and groups quickly understand which hostile NPCs are active, who they’re targeting, and how threat is trending — without clutter or guesswork.
- What CombatTracker Does
- Tracks hostile NPCs that you, your party, or your raid are actively in combat with
- Displays a live list showing:
- NPC name
- Threat (configurable display modes)
- Current target
- Uses combat log proof + unit scanning (targets, ToT, nameplates) to avoid false positives
- Mouse-wheel scrolling, compact UI, and minimal visual noise
Threat Display & Coloring
- CombatTracker resolves threat before display and then uses the final rendered threat value to drive row coloring:
- White – no reliable data
- Green – low / safe threat
- Yellow – moderate threat
- Amber – high threat
- Red – maximum threat (100%)
- This makes the list readable at a glance during combat, especially for tanks.
